That 5 sec call was really hard to swallow. They clearly called timeout and the guy was looking right at Rubio

That’s why freddy went off at the refs yesterday this refs are clearly looking to be part of the game they are fucking bad and is worse than it ever been

sorry this is a massive pet peeve of mine. One must at all times define their units. Simply stating the cavs have a top 10 offense requires explanation.

As far as pace goes the cavs play at the **slowest pace** in the NBA
As far as points scored go this is a bottom 5 team
As far as efficiency goes the the team is number 9
As far as effective FG% the cavs are number 10

all are different ways to judge an offense

pace is something different than points scored

thats like saying your speed is miles traveled

We are not the "worst" in the league at pace. We play slow, that's all pace tells you. Playing slow vs playing fast isn't a better/worse thing either.

Using team PPG as a metric to judge our offense when we are taking 8 fewer FGAs per game than some teams is just asinine. I think you know that.

It's the same reason you have to take us leading the league in opponents PPG by almost 3 full points with a grain of salt.

We are not far and away that much better defensively than everyone else in the league. We dictate the pace of games better than anyone in the league right now, IMO, and that leads to less possessions for both teams per game in our games than your average NBA game. Less possessions means less points by design.

That doesn't make your offense bad.
