Great video...
Watching this video and seeing the teammates he had around him, I kinda understand why he left.
Dont get me wrong, he wasnt fair to the frontoffice and he didnt handle the process with much respect for the fans. But if your teammates were (in random order):
- "I am still a presence in the paint" O'neill
- "My back is falling apart" Wallace
- "Im 7,3 foot tall, but very old" Z
- "I m mental ill" D West
- "They call me titties and I had 1 good rookie playoff performance" Gibson
- "Im the best shooter in the world" D Jones
- "Im the best brick shooter in the world" Hughes
- "I have a ducktail instead of BBall IQ" Gooden
- "Wild thing without offence" Varejao
- "Mo offence, less defence" Williams
- "Im a Serbian fundamental" Pavlovic
- "Work in progress" Hickson
- "I missed that 1 important shot" Marshall
- and many more
...
You all would leave too if youre
hitting your prime and have the opportunity to play with very
good friends who can ball too.
I agree he ripped your hearts out, he handled a lot of things poor, he acts like a class-less King, he has garbage friends around him and he didnt had to do the tv show...
But he gave you 7 very good years and 99% of the time he must have looked around and thought "why these players around me? why???" and still he tried to win. With that 1% being game 5 and 6 against the Celtics.
