Gooden+Snow=Marbury???

Well, when I was returning from the gym, I tuned in to 1100 AM. Well, some dude called in and said that he was told by somebody on the team that has been on the team for a while, told him that a trade for Gooden and Snow for Marbury was in the works.

The guys on the station went on to look at contracts and stuff, and they said that it would not add up.

What if we re-work Gooden's contract so it could match with Stephan Marbury's? Is that even possible?

I heard that as well RL. Kevin and Andre kinda tore that apart when it came to salary though. I can't believe what Marbury is making in the next 4 years, 16,18,20, and 21 million!

I think it would be Gooden + Snow + Newble + Wilks for Marbury, if it were to go down.

That's not a good reason to get Marbury. Once Marbury leaves NY they'll probablty turn out a winning record just like Phoenix did. Marbury is not a good fit for our team. No way!

No, I was just saying that everyone was asking for a scoring pg if AV were to start.

So, AV starts, Gooden goes, and we get a scoring pg.

Well I guess I would be the only person that does this trade. Marbury gets a mega bad wrap amoung fans. However there is no denying his talent, his teams in jersey were riddled with injuries and he was in charge of a very young suns team that almost beat the spurs in the playoffs.

I dont like his selfishness that he displayed earlier in his career but i think if he came here he would do whatever it took to get a title. He is a tremedously healthy player and can play damn good defense.

On the flip side, his contract is super ugly but it doesnt effect us as much being over the cap and all. I also cant see new york doing this seeing as they already have frye and curry. Who knows though, stranger thigns have happend but if this was on the table i would take it.

A scoring PG isnt needed with Anderson to start because Larry will be coming back soon, I think everybody is looking for a PG that can push and create.

Marbury will never go to any winning team because no winning team is dumb enough to take him.

The nets won 43 games. THe next year they picked up Marbury and won 16, 31 and 26 games. Then they traded Marbury for Kidd and won 52, 49, 47 and 42 games.

Phonix had Kidd and won 53 and 51 games, then traded Kidd for marbury, and won 36, 44, 29 games, then traded marbury to the knicks and signed Nash and won 62 games.

The knicks picked him up midesason in a 39 win season, they won 33 games the next year and will do well to get 20 this year.

He forgot to mention that half of jerseys roster was injured durring his tenure. I dont think it really matters because this is the onlyp lace I have heard of this rumor and I dont see the knicks trading marbury.
