Trust me, Marbury will never be a Cav as long as Ferry calls the shots .....I still firmly believe that our next point guard will come from either Memphis or Chicago...

Our next PG could still come from NY...

..Nate Robinson...

Memphis huh???? who would we get from Memphis?????

^I think he meant Watson, who was on Memphis before.

I cant believe people are actually trying to justify Marbury being in a Cavs uniform, that just sickens me..

The only fact you need to look at is every team Marbury has been on was terrible and the very next year after he was traded, they went to the playoffs....and some cases the finals.

Marbury is the worst player in the NBA, I wouldn't trade a pair of socks for him, even if the Knicks paid his entire contract.

it is a myth that marbury produces points for a team. He is a black hole with the ball. He is a net negative for the team.

Consider this. When Marbury is on hte court, 50% of the knicks baskets are assisted. When he steps off the court, 53% of the knicks baskets are assisted. Contrast this with Snow. When Snow is on the court, 56% of the cavs baskets are assisted, when he steps off of the court, the number drops to 50%.

And Marbury wouldn't be taking the ball out of Snow's hands, he'd be taking it out of LeBron's hands.

i do not want to see Marbury nor Stevie Franchise Killer anywhere near the Cavaliers roster but all that stat shows is that Snow himself can't score. heck most of the time he can't even hit the rim from 15 ft. the really stat would be how much of that 56% is assists from Snow or how much of that 50% is Marbury? one thing i know for sure is Snow averages 4.2 assists per while Marbury is at 6.9 assists per game.

i was playing around on real GM and the Cavs can trade Gooden to Portland for Blake, Dixson, and Pryzbilla and it would work under the cap. i like that deal LOL.

Hard to believe Ferry would turn down a Gooden for Duhon & Sweetney trade. Even if the Cavs aren't that high on Sweetney it's not like he has a bad long term contract to take on and he would provide depth up front.

I wouldn't be crazy about trading for Watson to be our answer as the starting PG. He's overpaid for his talent level. Judging from recent box scores, he also seems to be reverting to his poor shooting ways that he showed in Memphis. Watson would help but I don't think he's the answer for the long run.

I'm not as high on Reggie Evans as others. If the Cavs didn't have to give up much for him and didn't have to give him a big contract to resign him than I might feel better about it. Evans is really a 1 dimensional player. He's a good rebounder but does nothing else. Evans is undersized for a PF, is a poor defender, a very limited offensive player and has no shooting range at all. I don't see him as a $5 million a year player.

Take out Ariza and Mo Taylor and throw in David Lee. Done Deal. That would be an awesome trade for us. However, salaries wouldn't match up.
