If bought-out, Cavs option for McGrady

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Let the Lakers have him. With him and Kobe taking all of the shots there will not be any team chemistry (like we are seeing with Kobe on the bench - haha).

Like Shannon Brown dropping 27 pts and 10 rbs the other day? The guy we released cuz we thought he was a nobody .. goes to LA and becomes a sick guy off the bench for them? I would at least ask LeBron, Shaq, and others what they thought of him and then go from there .. T-Mac's past is his past. He was expected to score a ton and do a ton. He still has skills and would be a solid starter and shooter and help spread the floor even more. He wouldnt have to play a ton of minutes or score alot. But he def. could help scoring when the no. 2 lineup comes in the game .. it's at least worth a look and asking Bron what he thinks about him...

The Cavs  What the fuck have you been watching? T-Mac in his horrible suits?

ive been watching jwad play like a bum and one of the only weak spots on the roster as of late.

Wasn't Jawad battling back problems the last few games?

He's worth taking a look at. Send LBJ out to play a little pickup basketball with him. See if he has anything left in the tank.

I'm not really for a T-mac expirement. If we would have tried something, then we should have given more for Amare, the reward could be much higher.

couldnt tell you, but it seems as tho its his confidence hes battling. his back heals, hell still hesitate when he gets open looks and end up throwing the ball away.

I can't believe you're willing to get rid of Jawad for a guy who's played about 60 seconds this season. Unbelievable.

Whenever Jawad is on the bench he's wearing a back stabilizer. Ever try shooting a basketball with a bad back? That'll cause you to hesitate. Confidence was there earlier in the season, and it'll be back.

You at least have to do your due diligence.

I may be wrong but I think McGrady could be one of the few guys that would be fine with coming in and fitting in with a lesser role. I think of when Bob McAdoo was traded to the Lakers and helped them win a championship. Also, I think of when the Spurs signed Glenn Robinson near the end of his career and he helped them in one key playoff game on the way to a title.

Agreed. If he has any game left at all, he'd at least be another player for opponents to worry about whenever he's on the floor, which might just be the edge in a tough series. As much as i like Danny Green and Jawad, they sure won't strike fear in anybody's hearts -- not yet at least. Even if they might be able to punish teams ignoring them.

Hey, if everyone thinks that Powe can be useful after his rehab, why not take the same approach with T-Mac? Low risk, high reward.

I'm not against getting T-Mac, don't get me wrong. I'm just not up to the idea of giving Jawad the ass after all he's done for us this season.

for the vet min hes worth it as long as he's not more concerned about showing people he can still be the man. He still has that chance that he could get hot one game at a key moment and turn a playoff series, how ironic would it be if he spent the end of his career like horry hitting big shots as a role player.

hes only 30 or 31,but as someone before me posted hes CURSED haha.
Our team would be freaking stacked at that point though, like, seriously.

tmac for the vet min seems inplausible, but you would have to be an idiot not to give it a try. AI was team poison, but T-mac was never in that league. He played for shitty teams as the goto guy and that is how he got a max contract, but he is not an idiot. He has been hurt, and probably has limited minutes left in him, but if he is willing to play for a chance at the ring, he is still an upgrade over anthony parker. Would be fun to put him on cousin vince when we are kicking Orlando's blue butt...
