Logistical question: what does Shumpert do with that hair at night? Seems like it'd be down in his face by morning or does he wear something over it? These are the kinds of questions people with a lot less hair ask themselves. Gotta say, it's great branding.
I like what I've seen from Shumpert so far. Offensively he isn't as strong as I thought but the guy has shown an aptitude for playing winning basketball.
yeah, i think most people just don't want to mess up the chemistry of the starting lineup which seems to really be working. plus, if JR is out with the second unit, he might end up going back to Knicks JR, whereas he plays really unselfishly with the starters. i think it's worth a shot moving him to the bench, but hard to say if Blatt agrees.^ ^^I totally agree on getting Shump in the starting lineup(see Post 762 in the JR Smith thread), but the post after me got like 20+ Likes supporting keeping the JR starting status quo...
I missed the game lastnight, but it sounds like Shump is still ballhawking it up. What did he do that was so different lastnight?

I think especially for this season we keep it. If we want to make that sort of rotation change lets do it when we have a full off season and season to let it work out.I mean, it's a tall task to ask a coach to change the most successful starting lineup in the league.
Per 100 possessions, our current starting 5 is +27.5. That is an INSANE number.
Shump with the starters is a much smaller sample size (48.6 Min vs 347.6 min).
Per 100 possessions, Iman with the starters is +17.7. Still very good.
Smith has been playing really, really well with that starting unit.
I think he needs to remain there even though Shump might be a better "fit" on paper.
