Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Shump really helped pick up the slack total effort every second on the floor.

We are going to need him in the next round, especially game one

yeah he and TT are going to have to beast if the cavs can succeed against the bulls.

Think about it for a quick minute: If Shump could knock down that 3 with consistency, he would possess the potential to work his way into being one of the top wings in the league. This is a guy who has proven he has all the skills needed to be a winner in the NBA. If his offense was as smoking hot as JR's, Shump would be one of the deadliest and most feared two-way weapons in the league.

Shump was great, he has been better in the playoffs than the regular season me thinks.

Yea but that's just not realistic. He has enough offensive ability to play in the nba without being a liability, but you don't rely on him for nights like this. Any offense contributed is just s nice, occasional surprise.

Man can't dunk. His three point percentage is what it is. Not good, but he should still shoot them. Shouldn't be handling the ball, at all.

Love him to death on d though.

Likely going need another 38 minute effort from Shump in game 1.

Did a great job rebounding as well.

Shumperts opportnity to earn himself a big paycheck starts now.

The only good thing about JR being out two games is we will likely finally see a Kyrie-Iman-LeBron starting lineup.

And depending how well Iman plays, he may force JR back into the sixth man role.

Interesting side note in all of this. Should Shumpert start and play really well in JR's absence, JR might have single-handedly killed his opportunity for a larger payday with the Cavs. If Shump continues to play anything like he did on Sunday, the only way I bring back JR next season is if he is on his player option.

I want them both. Can we pay both Shump and JR what they want and also pay Mozgov? I sure do hope so. I don't want the nucleus of this team to break up. Those 3 have been huge.

I really wish we could do an experiment that combines Iman Shumpert with J.R. Smith. We'd have the best SG in the league.

We can pay anyone we want to. We have everyones Bird rights and can pay as much as Dan can stomach for anyone currently on the roster. Since we're over the cap no matter what its all just how much tax Dan is willing to pay.

Sure, while we're at it lets give Mozgov Love's shooting.
