Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I generally think we've assemble some tough as nails S.O.B's on this team. Kyrie played through considerable injuries for most of the playoffs, same with Shump, TT will literally fight with bears for the chance at a rebound and don't even get me started on fuckin' Delly. I love how badass our players are.

How bout that inbounds pass???!!!
I really believe that poor pass was due to his shoulder injury earlier in the game. After he sank that three when he returned I wasn't so worried about the injury. He's been clutch on defense, but I'd like to see more offensive punch out of him.

It looked to me like he expected delly to go straight but he cut left. Delly signaled to him that he was going left but perhaps missed it. Shump tried to stop the ball but had all of his momentum going forward on the pass. He was also moving while passing so probably thought he might get called for a travel(something they rarely call) colossal Fuck up though. Curry hadn't received a better pass all night long.

He also bricked a couple of really crucial free throws. Would like him to be more composed out there in the clutch. Hopefully he learns from these mistakes like lebron said.

Don't forget J.R. coming back from suspension shooting like Ray Allen against Chicago instead of sulking.

One exciting thing about Shumpert's future prospects in Cleveland is that he gets to go into this off-season knowing that he needs to get better at one thing, shooting. Every other year of his career he had to focus on becoming better at everything so that the Knicks wouldn't suck. Here he knows that all he has to do is shoot open 3's and defend.

Wouldn't hurt to work on his dribble.

It never hurts to get better at something, but his dribbling is such a minuscule aspect of his game here that it's really not that important.

Seriously though what happened to Iman? he was playing so great in the playoff's, either driving hard to nailing the 3's & keeping it simple.
and that mid range he keeps taking, they are giving him the layup/dunk everytime go hard to the rim they cant stop you.

GS are giving him no respect, he should average 12-15pt easy!
I'm kinda shocked about him and J.R so far I was expecting much more....

All these misses remind me of his shot when initially coming back from the shoulder injury. Maybe the bruise from the previous game is having its impact...
His defense is still invaluable though, hell of a job on Klay.

I wish he could give us something on offense. But he did take Klay out of the game.

Our issue is the JR situation. We need to start him. Its Blatt's counter move against Kerr. If we cant get JR fixed the series is lost.

Shumpert has made alot of progress offensively this season. He sometimes has seemed lost out there on the court. I think his shoulder is causing him alot of pain. He is a Trooper though and the guy has earned my respect.

If anyone finds Shump, tell him to go to the Q by Tuesday. This imposter guy has been stinking up the joint.....

Seriously though, wtf is up with Shump. He was afraid of the basketball all night. Hurting us out there with his passiveness.

He looks atrocious out there, almost like he is channeling Dion with those layup attempts. His brain dead passing and lack of a handle is unwatchable.
