My guess is they didn't expect him to play much with Shumpert active and want to keep him fresh if an injury occurs.
 
Harris is better than Miller.
 
Glad to see Harris sent to Canton. I like the guy and his upside, especially as a good guard that brings effort and range off the bench. He needs to play consistent minutes to grown and he'll get that chance in Canton.

I wonder if this also indicates more than Shumpert being healthy. The Cavs have been rumored to have an interest in Farmar, Robinson, and others. Wonder if they would send Delly to Canton too if that happens?

I also think Miller has been invaluable as far as team cohesiveness is concerned. Always cheers on teammates even when not getting minutes and has a real positive energy. Seems supportive of Blatt. This team needs those things from a veteran. Even one not getting/deserved of minutes.
 
I really hope this means they're after another player, like Farmar or a big. Seems likely that it's just for development purposes, though.

I agree completely, it's not like Mike or Joe will be playing at all anyways once Shumpert gets back..
 
I'm glad he get to go down there an play.

He seems like a player that can benefit from the D league. Get shots, find a rhythm.
