Josh Gordon discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think it does and if so the browns should of been waiting for any mishap to suspended him. They have dealt with too much crap with him to bolt next year with nothing in return. Hopefully now they get two full years to grow him to his potential and then to decide to give him a big contract.

No. He's gone.

Does this suspension give us an extra year before he hits free agency? If so, brilliant.

Yes.

I don't want him gone before next year's trade deadline though (though the Browns probably don't agree).

Why? Because his trade value has to be ridiculously low right now. Also, go into next season, have him play every week before the deadline (hopefully), hopefully he plays up to his talent level & increases his value.

If he doesn't increase his value, it still can't be any worse than it is right now..

What a fool. Apparently he was seen out late last night with you know who...

At least the other guy made it into the building today for his rehab session.

Futures of the franchise...

LOL @ those saying Manziel's party habits would have no impact on the team.

This is exactly what "bad habits which result from losing" means. I'm so sick of these attitudes.

Remember the time Banner and Lombardi conned a 2nd round pick out of San Francisco and Haslam nixed it? Jimmy is on fire-- first Gordon then he picks Manziel. Fun times, Jimmy.

Haslam had nothing to do with the Gordon pick considering he wasn't the owner when Gordon was drafted. You forgot Gilbert, btw.

It doesn't matter, this guy is a disgrace, and isn't helping this team at all. I just want him gone. I'm tired of him, let another team deal with him when he eventually breaks the drug policy again, and is given a heavy suspension.

His value is never going to be that high, he's a total loose cannon, teams know that. Just trade him, get something, and be done with him.

He really doesn't make the team that much better. It's not like we're heading to the super bowl with a great talented receiver, that's always suspended.

Good riddance, I say.

He means we had an opportunity to trade Gordon last year and we didn't.

I know this may sound weird but I would rather root for a team with players I can respect who may not win as much instead of one with punks like Gordon and Manziel. So, not that I think either QB is great, but I have no idea how management can justify staying with Johnny over Hoyer.
