JR Smith

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Incredible stuff right there, the part of Love really confirms what I've thought of him mentally as a player this season.

More important than what you notice about Love’s game, though, is what you don’t. He does all of the little things a team needs to win, and that sort of stuff trickles down to each and every one of us, including me. Guys like him make you want to play harder. They help you keep your focus and intensity, because if he’s doing it night in and night out with smarts, heart and determination, well … what’s your excuse? Put it this way: If I had a son grow up to be a big man, you better believe he’d be enrolled in Kevin Love’s summer camp.

I thought the best thing in the essay was the stuff about Kevin Love too.

JR got me pumped up with that essay! Love it.

It's hard to imagine now that a large contingent of very knowledgeable basketball fans, myself included, thought JR was a throw in in order to obtain Shumpert (who has been almost as good of a pickup). JR is right, the perception he carries around the league doesn't match reality and I don't know exactly what this was/is. Some credit must be given to both Blatt and LeBron integrating him into this team, because it's not possible IMO to have a more perfect fit. Really enjoyed that essay.

He ain't no Flip Murray. Flip looked sort of good in 2006 because the team needed a shooting guard in the worst sort of way, but when the team got to the playoffs, his limitations were pretty clear. I think JR's going to tear it up in the playoffs. Moz & Shump were important parts, but adding JR's skill set to Lebron's game is what give the Cavs a chance to go all the way.

I've been quoted as saying jr was a stud and a gangster since his Denver days..

Mad rep to someone who sorts through my hunders of trash posts and finds my posts about Jr. This guy turned out to be one of the best players on the team.. Basically, im a genius and the rest of you minions arent.

Boy did i love me some flip Murray.

Nobody did a better job of making Larry Hughes look like a fool than Flip Murray.

Loved when he'd hit a shot and they'd play the "game over. Flip. Flip. Flip."

I don't know about your JR predictions, but I do remember what you said about Boris Diaw.
