Does a broken wrist prevent Charlie from playing football next year? Matter of fact, he played a quarter and led the team to a TD after hurting his wrist, so I'll assume it's not that bad of a break. The only way Troy Smith plays for Cleveland is if he slides to the third. Phil Savage is no idiot and without a vast improved OL it wouldn't matter who the hell lined up behind center.

I do not understand the infatuation with Troy Smith.

Regardless, we finally had a QB that stood in the pocket IN THE RED ZONE, actually checked down, and zipped one in there in between the LB's...

Where as Charlie has to lob one up to BE or JJ in the corners cause he can't hit anyone down the middle with any velocity or accuracy..

I am certainly not saying Anderson is great.. Hell, I'm sure he's nothing great.. But who knows ??? If all else fails, I atleast like the fact he has the arm strength Charlie doesn't have...

If he plays against Pitt next week, I'm not looking for greatness from the guy...

You guys can complain about Frye all you want. But week in and week out I see that kid trying to play with a o-line that gives him no time.

BTW, you people who complain about Frye will complain about any QB that comes here in Cleveland. Because as our team is right now, no QB will do good. Not even Peyton Manning.

Okay, and that's fine.. But, what should I have seen in Frye at this point that should make me feel comfortable with him, and ignore the feelings I have for a change ?

What is it about Charlie Frye that I'm missing ?

Is it any of the following:

Leadership (He has little)
Winner (Nope)
Accurate passer (Constantly misses wide open targets)
Killer arm (13 yard bombs are great)
Play maker (Anderson's shovel pass > Charlie's fumbles)
Incredible decision making (Across the field throws are awesome)
Low INT rate (More of these than TD's)
Superb QB rating (All time best)
All those TD's he's thrown uhh
