K2: Frye Broke His Wrist

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

We're getting attacked by the Charlie Fries

Pip,

I want to see DA start on Thursday. I certainly don't share CDT's enthusiasm for what I saw, but I have a pretty good idea of what Frye has been able to accomplish against the Steelers with the OL in place. Giving Anderson four quarters against the same team only 3 weeks after they beat us with Charlie will certainly give us all a chance to evaluate what we have with the two.

What have we to lose?

That's fine, CP..

I personally don't care about Anderson.. I've never seen the guy play before yesterday, and I certainly don't see him as any type of savior... I'm just saying I like the style in which he played over Charlie's.. Charlie has alot of that Jake Plummer type of game, and I can't stand that style..

I would love to have a different QB in here to upgrade the position.. I'm going to need to see more outta DA than just 3 quarters to declare him anything other than lightning in a bottle..

Charlie just seems like an air head.. Yes, i did see DA throw that INT yesterday.. However, I did not see him run to the sidelines, and try his hardest to launch it across the field right into the hands of the other team.. If he does that against PITT... He can leave with Charlie..

Charlie makes a ton of stupid mistakes IMO... Even Langhorne said he has no clue what Charlie sees or thinks out there.. Cause some of his mistakes are not NFL calibur QB mistakes..

I loved that fact that DA stood in the pocket, and targeted the midde of the field instead of just having the first inclination to run... He let things develope and then threw and in other instances he went through his progressions, and when nothing was there he tucked and ran...

Charlie really doesn't do that, and I really haven't seen Charlie do that in the full year or so I've seen him play...

The guy led this team back from two TD's down in the 4th quarter... I've yet to see Charlie do that..

Ok ALL year I've been saying we should draft O linemane with atleast two of our first three picks. But now that we may go 4-12 or 5-11, Smith is looking pretty good. But I doubt he get's up to us without trading. I say we try and try to move up by trading our first, 3rd, and 4th for a top 3 first pick. Thus keeping our second, in which we draft a OL with a high potential.

That's only for Smith. The problem with this team is it's OL. Frye will be much better with an extra second-half second every snap. We need LeCharles and another great OL and we will be on our way.

Two things I liked about Anderson was that he wasn't forcing the ball to the playmakers, he threw the ball to whoever was open. If it was Heiden instead of Winslow, so be it. The other thing that was refreshing to see was some real velocity on his throws....Charlie's arm is just weak.

Troy Smith is too short.

Well when a ball is thrown and doesnt wobble and hits the receiver in stride I tend to get a little excited...

When you can improv with a shovel pass for like 20-30 yards I like that too...the fact he can run and secure the ball..

I know it was just a few series' but it was refreshing to say the least..

I think its the fact that I have been burned by sooo many Browns before him that I refuse to let my hopes get high on anyone involved with this orgnization nt named Braylon and Kellen

I certainly hope that Anderson is our Tom Brady and he ends up being a great player....I want him to play well on Thursday night and beat the shit out of tthe Steelers

BUT...im not getting my hopes up thats all im saying

Thank goodness...

You don't win super bowls by restarting every damn year.People want romeo fired before this last win, why? How does this solve anything?RESTARTING IS NOT THE ANSWER.This is the problem with cleveland fans, when someone does something wrong and the other does one thing good people praise him.If DA turns out to be sick than thats awesome but don't just shoot down Frye yet.

I think we can all agree given the chance Anderson will absolutely torch Pittsburgh...

Our worst nightmare is gone...Troy Polamalu

None of his frizzy haired int's or sacks..:chuckles:

We'll probably lose whoever we put behind center but hey I'm excited..I love watching the Browns play..and I'll love it even more if they ever get out of the gutter..

I'm not saying Cleveland should fire RAC, but if he's not the man for the job, you want him out of there sooner rather than later. Sometimes you have to take a step backward to move forward. That's the logic, tcf.

True and i respect that but i am so sick of starting over,i want to see how he works out. That's all man,and its not even the RAC situation its every1 who wants fryes head when he just finished a whole season.

The guys stats didnt look too bad for a rookie season,I just want to give him time.

Is DA a Brady in disguise?Who knows and we may find out,if he is then awesome.I am behind whoever 100% that can bring us the best chance to win.

Too bad our line doesn't do that.
