Kendrick Perkins - Canton's Enforcer

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We should have waited for McGee. At least you can throw lobs to that guy. My goodness. Perk can't even globber up rebounds in traffic.
I read reports of how McGee wanted to stay, Philly was interested in his services blah blah blah then last minute they buy him out. I didn't expect it because they played him in a game or 2. BUt yes it would of been nice to throw lobs to him.

One thing to remember is Perk is a good locker room guy. Since we are in trouble if we need him for more than a foul or two, his presence on the sideline is the most important thing out of this signing.

Yes he is bad, but helps in Mike Miller type ways.

We have enough good locker room guys even without Perk.

This team is still at a point where it needs help on the floor and he can't provide that.

Wow- I saw him play yesterday - I am disappointed. Last i saw him was when he was a force in OKC. I never realized that there was such a huge dip in form. We have more great locker room guys than bench guys now :(.

Perk was terrible out there because Whiteside was a terrible matchup. Game was just too fast for him.

Kendrick Perkins really set women's basketball back a few years tonight.
The whole team did, to be honest.

Defense and rebounding has been slipping for a bit. They're tired and it shows.

I understand that this guy is terrible and slow and so he fouls a lot, but does anybody else get the impression that referees just absolutely hate this guy?

I swear as soon as he comes in he gets called for some ticky-tack shit that other big guys just don't. Maybe I'm not watching the game right, but I swear refs have really quick whistles when Perkins is involved.

I don't really agree.. Kendrick has zero lateral quickness (to say the least) - he can't stay in front of almost anyone currently in the NBA. So he leans on guys and when that fails starts slapping away. He just... he barely belongs in the NBA anymore.

JaVale McGee is a asshat. Dude is only worried about getting paid and will do it in the laziest way possible.

I can't remember who it was last night but Lebron was starting to feel it late in the fourth, pulling up, getting us somewhat within range and then somebody from the Heat drove in and scored at the rim and Perkins just backed right off like he was 100 pounds soaking wet and couldn't take a hit. Not good.

At least McGee can run and rebound and block. Perkins is just... I have no words. We needed that other big because we are too thin in those positions. We only have 3 actual bigs and 2 of them are PFs. Perk is supposed to be an insurance but by the looks of it he will be a disaster if any of our bigs go down.

It's a moot point. He is looking for the biggest contract possible which is why Dallas gave up on him. I agree we should have signed someone else but McGee wouldn't have been an option.
