I think Love gets down on himself. His body language looks to be disappointment more than frusturation at the team most of the time. I really do think he cares about his defense. I keep forgetting Love has never been on a great defensive team in the NBA. He simply doesnt know what to do.

Kyrie had the physical tools to defend so for him all he needed was effort and coaching, but Love doesnt have those gifts. So hes gonna have to learn defense the extremely hard way. Getting pounded until he learns wherehe needs to be, because hes not gonna be traded or walk. Hes not a quitter

Isn't Love coming off the Flu? he should be given a bit more time before we start writing him off.

I hope the frustration shown today was about his play. He has to realize this is not Minny anymore... We are aming for the Finals... He will have to be more agresive and improve on defense. That's on him. I think it was quite a jump in expectations and every game effort requirements for him... he looks like a rookie sometimes.

can you elaborate a little, when did this happen? i only missed a few minutes of the game and apparently didn't see that...

Love putting that weight back on may be the move he needs on this team. I wonder how much he could safely pack on

His defense has improved, particularly the last couple games. He is contesting, closing off and even blocking shots.

The frustration only worries me because we sacrificed alot to get him and he might run from us in the summer like Howard did to LA.
ofcourse Love has much friendlier enviroment and better teammates.
I think Wiggins is underwhelming and yet I fear.

Speaking of team sacrifice, amongst the starters, it seems the only player sacrificing is Love. All the rest are taking as many shots as last year on average, so, when they mean team, they mean him. I would say, that yes, maybe that would irk someone as competitive as Love. They have to find a way to integrate him completely. It would add much more to the offense if he got on track consistently.

Here are the shot differentials from last season, and don't think he and his people aren't aware of this:

Field Goal Attempts
LeBron James: +.6
Kyrie Irving: -1.6
Anderson Varejao +.7
Kevin Love: -6.0

why do you want him to put on more weight? he already struggles trying to defend pick&rolls and rotating properly in time. in the post his lack of height and lift are the reason he struggles imo (there are also some bad habits). i'm not sure how more weight is supposed to help in those areas, quite the contrary it would probably get worse...

He is. But it isn't about the last three games. This has been a theme all season long.

If Love walks, I want to make a hard push at Gasol.

Do they have the cap space to sign a max free agent they don't have Bird Rights to?

I like Love. But something seems off with his body language. Just watched his post-game interview. Never once made eye contact with Fred, seemed agitated. And arrogant.

Def :) I'm a worrier so I can't help myself. Sorry to those who are annoyed by some of my posts! Bear with me.
