- Love isn't going anywhere

- The "touches" thing will get figured out in time

- Love acts like he does with the media, I have heard, because someone in the media burned him in the past. So he says little to them since then.

- Love is still getting over being sick. I watched his shootaround video from the other day and he was sniffling constantly

- Love is an introvert by nature. He's self motivated and expects a lot out of himself. If he seems frustrated, it's probably with himself. Also, he's a guy that has a nasty streak. In a good way. And if wants to say something, he will say it. So if he gets ticked off about not getting touches, I'm sure he'll let someone know that.

- Love comes from a professional basketball family. His dad was in the NBA. If he has any issues or frustrations, he can talk to his dad and plenty of other people to get some advice.

- As Stannis said, Love should be getting more touches after the 1st quarter. My own thought about him tonight was he seemed tired. My guess is that is from the illness

- He's fine, we won over a West powerhouse, all is good. I would say don't create things to worry about

Look, Love got thoroughly outplayed by JON LEUER last night. And this isn't the first time he's made a scrub look like a star. That's legit cause for concern.

Love obviously has skills and he's contributing to the team. But can anyone say at this point that he looks like a max player? He's not playing anywhere close to a max player. A max player is a guy who can dominate the competition a reasonable proportion of the nights he's out there.

The other is that worry too much and are overreacting to...I don't even know. Facial expressions?

Come on. Nobody's overreacting to facial expressions. People are reacting to the way Love is actually playing. The guy is shooting 43% on the year, is a sieve on defense, and isn't even winning the rebounding contests consistently.

Bosh and Glen Taylor were both correct, this was bound to be a huge adjustment for Kevin Love.

To Kevin Love, I think the biggest adjustment is winning with limited output from himself.

He took an underhanded jab at Minnesota in last night's presser. Saying essentially that things are going the way they usually go in Minnesota.

He smiled, and you can see that it's pretty easy for him to accept this situation over Minnesota purgatory. If he was in LA, he could be gunning like Kobe, but I think Kevin wants to win, straight up.

Every player wants to put up a lot of shots, and show out their talent.

If Love is winning ballgames, I think he can care less.

He's going to get paid. The only thing he has to prove is that he'll sacrifice for the team, and that ultimately he will be considered a winner.

I really can't see Love bailing on this setup. He's never had a player as good as Kyrie. He damn sure hasn't had another running mate like LeBron.

I wouldn't be opposed to Kevin shooting an additional 10 shots tomorrow. PS, Kevin needs to use the bank-shot more, he's proficient.

Not concerned.

I guess I just don't understand some people's fascination with finding something to complain or be worried about. Enjoy the goddamn ride. Over the last few games we've had huge contributions from a variety of different guys stepping up, whether it be Mike Miller, Tristan, Andy, Dion, etc. It's really fun to watch. Stop torturing yourself looking for something that isn't there.

Listen, I don't think Love is going to leave, and I believe your post is entirely on-point. Regardless, if he does leave, it seems improbable to me that the Cavs would have difficulty filling his spot next offseason.

Oh you mean like Kyrie coming out and shooting hoops after the game on Wednesday? That was totally normal.

Most of us would like to continue enjoying the ride and that's where the concern comes from.

He looks like a max player in the first quarter, scoring and rebounding with ease on just about everyone; he goes to the bench, and then gets a few shots the rest of the way. We know his defensive liabilities which is why a defensive rim protector being paired with him is paramount as his getting him more touches in the offense. One of his skills that's not being utilized is his passing in the half-court. He's a very good and willing passer, and as our offense begins to gel and we get the ball movement Blatt is trying to get out of them (we all HOPE they buy in before the season ends), you'll see a lot of easy baskets scored off of Love assists.

I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding this post. Are you citing Kyrie getting shots up after the Hawks game as a cause for concern? If so, I honestly don't know what to tell you. That's laughable.

Why do you suppose more players don't go and shoot hoops for 45 minutes immediately after the game?

Here's Windhorst talking about it on his podcast. He said it's a message: http://stationcaster.com/player_skinned.php?s=70&c=18273&f=3770033

He says other NBA executives thought it was weird too. They thought he was undermining the coaching staff. I don't think the message was to the coaching staff. But maybe the executives are wrong. Maybe it wasn't a message. Maybe Windhorst is wrong.

edit: Hopefully your main point is correct and if the Cavs continue rolling all the other stuff will fade away. That's usually what happens when a team keeps winning.

Definitely a lot of overreaction in this thread. Everyone was hot against the Grizz. We shot 60% from the field. If Love wasn't getting touches it was simply because we didn't need to give him touches. LBJ, AV, Dion and Irving were all hitting their shots. Blatt is a firm believer of going with whatever is working in a game.

Another thing I'd like to see Love improve on is his movement off the ball. The reason why Andy sometimes gets so many looks is because he is so active and gets open frequently. I see Love standing around too much on the perimeter, he needs to take a page from Andy's game.

I admit I like to rag on the dude a lot, I am a huge Wiggins fan and he will be the first one I will bash during a losing streak.

At the end of the day though he will be judged at what he does in the PLAYOFFS. I am a firm believer he will be able to match at least what Bosh gave Miami. (That guy was invisible for a lot of big games)

All points well made.

Let's all hope that Kevin is allowed to go off on the Wolves. The level of shit he put up with them over there is legendary. He is a patient guy, but they pushed him too far.
