we wouldn't be Cleveland fans without speculating Love leaving after beating a tough western conference team by over 10

Course, they were missing several impactful players. *excuses excuses* I am a little annoyed we're having problems measuring this team because teams always have injuries when we face them, and of course LBJ sat out the Thunder.

I like Love a lot and I think he's still growing within the team, but I'm definitely worried about his future here a little bit. I think you're in denial if it isn't at least a small concern.

Their is some cause for concern but a little too early to make assumptions. We all knew Love was gonna sacrifice the most, just like Bosh did. But their is definitely a point where it just goes too far. I don't see how Love is gonna be happy when he never gets more than 2-3 chances outside of the first quarter. Love is a better shooter than Bosh, it's what he does. And at a certain point he might start taking it as an insult. We traded too much to use him like this.

I think it will come down to two things. 1. How much they can get him involved in the second half, and 2. what happens in the playoffs. If we win big in the playoffs I gotta think he will probably stay around even if he's not too happy about his situation.

This is the 2nd time Love has looked 'lost' during the season. Seems like it happens when Kyrie plays well...........

If that's the baseline for your concerns, then my God don't watch LeBron's post game interviews.

Ha! I actually just did and he made eye contact with every reporter and spoke directly to each one.

As I said, sky isn't falling, but I suspect that a kernel of doubt has formed in his mind because it isn't speculation that his usage dropped a whopping 33% and that he is ignored on offense after the first. He knows he can score, a lot, and when he is prevented from doing so out of sheer laziness, or venality, it is bound to start bothering him some time. It's not asking much to consider him as an integral part of the offense.

I have been a strong supporter of the trade and am a big fan of his game. I have, to date, dismissed speculation on his future as unwarranted as I truly hoped that the Cavs would have started giving him his due by now and that he had no reason to be unhappy. They haven't; in fact his not getting touches seems more pronounced of late.

To assert that there aren't grounds for his disgruntlement is absurd and to dismiss outright any notion that he wouldn't leave is also very irresponsible. They will have to address the matter, or there is in fact, a legitimate concern he will leave come the summer. And if that is the case, it will be on the Cavs, not Love.

Man's not asking for the moon. Just give him the damn ball after the first quarter.

And if he stays with these numbers per game, we probably could have gotten just as much production out of Wiggins, Bennett and the picks. Then if he does decide to walk afterwards, it will have been a disaster of a trade.

So I'd say keeping him involved has to be one of the very top priorities anyway...

Love isn't going anywhere.. my god he was fist pumping and and congratulating his teammates on big plays.. he is frustrated at himself.. he is extremely underused and anyone questioning his post game is crazy.. he is more effective then he isn't and his corner 3's and jumpers in general have looked better.. he is trying on D and still rebounding his ass off... when teams pack the paint in the playoffs Love spotting up will be worth every asset we gave up... RELAX

IMO if we win, Love should have nothing to complain about.

The reality is he is going to get his money regardless. He can average ~15/10 this year and the Cavs would still max him out as would teams like the Knicks, Lakers, etc.

I understand the pride aspect of wanting to get your stats and touches, but in reality it doesn't matter. Winning does more for his legacy than stats and he'll get his money period.

So you're saying Kyrie has only played well two times? haha

No, but it seems like anytime Kyrie is having a game where he is spreading the ball well and playing as a PG well, Love gets mad. It is like he is miffed he isn't getting the bulk of those assists.

If he's acting frustrating in APRIL, then maybe worry a bit. It's December. And even if he's frustrated at the end of the season, he still doesn't really have too many great options in the offseason with room for a max contract.

And no, if he were to leave, we don't have room for a max contract. We're still over the cap.

That Defensive effort on Leuer was scary bad. I still don't see how we are going to cover for this in the playoffs. I swear I think Love is a SF most of the time I watch him

That's one take.

The other is that worry too much and are overreacting to...I don't even know. Facial expressions? This board LOVES to break down body language endlessly. As a guy who showed very little emotion when playing sports, it's just not that easy to read and declare someone is upset. So long as his body language doesn't impact his play (such as hanging your head after messing up and not getting back, that kind of quantifiable stuff), I just really don't care.
