When is this bum coming back... This summer we need to figure out what to do with this yearly hurt vacation this guy takes every season.
Lmao yeah his yearly hurt vacation where he played more regular season games than both KI and LBJ from 2014-2016

Edit: ok go ahead and disagree with a fact scrub

I thought the entire second half the Rockets were getting to the rim pretty much at will, either on dribble penetration or the High PnR. Didn't convert everything, but they got very good shots or open 3s on the pass out.

Good point, Chris.

I really hope we get Sanders, and I hope he has something left in the tank and can channel it productively this season. We need a rim protector badly.

If anything, The Cavs being 6-6 without Love proves his worth. Without Love, the Cavs wouldn't reach the Finals last year or this year.

Agreed

If you think a team of Lebron+Kyrie couldn't make the finals in the east then I (and Sanders) would like to have your dealer's number

Anyway his time out has showed me that his defense counts. A guy willing to put that much effort on that end no matter how unathletic can get a slasher to rush his shot. Hope he comes back with the same level of hunger to play D

Yeah, I'm sure they performed surgery on Love's knee just because he felt like taking some time off. SMH. :9:

Just posted this in another thread but seems pretty relevant based on the current conversation going on:

Heard something on the radio this morning that mentioned without K-Love in our lineup, we've dropped from top ten in rebounding in the league to 24th in games without him. With Frye in the lineup, we are losing about 7 rebounds per game...those rebounds can make all the difference in these single-digit losses we've had as of late.

Just goes to show that aside from our defensive effort issues, not having our core guys playing together for most of the season has hurt us just as much.

Last game was the perfect example of why Love is so important to this team even when he is not scoring. People underestimate the importance of defensive rebounding because it looks easy and it's not as flashy as O boards. It's incredibly hard to win and is deflating when another team gets 20 offensive rebounds.

Love's ability to grab 10+ rebounds a game while spending most of his time at the 3 point line is unprecedented and invaluable to this team.

Not to mention with each defensive board he grabs, he is the best on the team at initiating the fast break. When digging into the stats a bit more, it's of no surprise that we are losing about 3 fast break points a game without him when compared to our season average.

Sure he might not be the most flashy guy on the court but he contributes to winning basketball. It amazes me he continues to be brought up in trade discussions for players like fucking black-hole Melo.

He is back? WTF!!!!!!
