Not saying anything most of us don't know but Love has always been a factor in wins and losses. Minnesota still trying to get back to pre Love even with addition of Wiggins and Town. This man's plus minus was tops with Rubio and now tops with LeBron.

I remember LeBron defending Bosh saying he was the key to winning championship when the media was bashing him for lacking Toronto stats.

One wants a good laugh go back and read some of the stuff said. Some funny stuff. Talking about how there is no way for Bosh to win without banging inside with big boys. How Dwight Howard would rip him apart.

The league has just changed so much and LeBron being the IQ master knew what he needed to win here and picked Love for his skill set. Love actually has more skills then Bosh in the right area's. What Bosh excels at is less important then what Love excels at. Rebounding and 3pt threat.

It's not always pretty and it's not always noticed but it is effective. Bosh like Love in today's nba make guys like Howard ineffective and a liability to have.

First guys like Horward can't guard a Bosh or Love from 3pt range but he has to and when he does he leaves LeBron Wade and now LeBron Kyrie free will to score.

In a perfect world love would be a shot blocker and more effective inside scorer and that probably makes him the greatest big to ever play the game but this isn't a perfect world and I'm more then thrilled that Love and his rare set of skills is here.

It would be nice to have a shot blocking bruiser to bang with Drummond Whiteside etc but at the end of the day the team to beat is GS and these lead footed shot blocking enforcers that fans love to see will get killed by GS small ball.

When Love comes back it will be business as usual. LeBron will play every min needed to win. Lue will have last years championship lineups and we will forget all about how bad are bench is

Did Love comment on when approximately he'll be back?

Unfortunately, I had the sound down on some of the broadcast at that time (phone call). May have missed that part.

Losing Love has hurt us in more ways than just his offensive production. He's one of the better communicators on the court and he continually plays with effort on both ends. He always was given shit for his defense and it was obvious he worked on it in the off-season as he looked much more fluid to start the season on the defensive end...dropped off a bit as he got bogged down with injuries but this uninspired shit-show we've seen the last three games makes me miss him that much more.

Love is already doing some drills and workouts, so he can’t be that far off. I’m guessing he’ll be back sometime in the next 2 weeks.

Yeah. He's only a few days away from the 4 week mark. A lot of scopes honestly put the timetable at 4-6 weeks.

I bet if the finals started on Monday , he'd be able to go.

It's encouraging because I think at the 6 week mark, he will be much closer to 100% than say, the normal 70-% people are coming off surgery normally.

This Houston game shows just how valuable Love is. There's a reason he's +10 per 100 on court and +12 ON-OFF per 100.

In that crazy 2nd quarter that saw Jefferson hit all those threes, that was what Love was doing before the food poisoning and then subsequent injuries. Jefferson was better able to switch on the perimeter, yes, but that floor spacing is what allowed this team to go on quick bursts.

Secondly, the game was lost on the offensive boards. The Cavs were literally 4 manageable defensive boards away from preventing 10 points as the initial defense was actually decent enough tonight. Love mightbhave grabbed a few of those and changed the game completely.

When is this bum coming back... This summer we need to figure out what to do with this yearly hurt vacation this guy takes every season.

Totally agree. The Cavs actually played ok initial defense tonight but the lack of defensive rebounding ruined the night. Defensive rebounding is the most overlooked part of defense.

I hope everyone understands how much Love brings to the team now.

Great comments here, from PriceFTW and others.

We did everything great, except rebound (and a few too many TO's).

No Love, no love for Cleveland tonight.
