I'm genuinly asking a valid question here. Why the negativity or sarcasm? These are facts that i'm curious about.
I'm just trying to understand why. Especially when you consider Kevin Love to be a good rebounder.

Cause you do this, ALL THE TIME! You're very very concerned about Love on this team. You're very very concerned about Kevin Love on the court against Golden State.

You continue to be very very concerned no matter how many times Price comes and puts up stats for you to assuage your fears.

That's all, I'm just very concerned about you being so concerned.

I just don't see a big impact by Love on this team, I'm really trying though. I have browsed through the game logs and surprisingly the Cavs are not a worse rebounding team without Love.
I had a feeling he wasn't an impactful rebounder like TT and not just because of OREB%.
The Cavs are a better offensive team in Love's absence(could be Korver settling even more and Derrick Williams playing well)
Cavs are worse defensively without Love.

So to sum it up, why aren't we suffering in the rebounding department without him? Lebron is averaging the same amount of rebounds without Love in this stretch so how do we maintain the same TREB%?
I know RPM loves Love but why don't I feel like we miss him like you should feel when you miss your all-star/superstar.
@priceFTW ?

Not sure exactly what numbers you're looking at because the basic on/off numbers show us as a much stronger rebounding team on both ends with Love on the court.

DRB%
On: 76.9% (Would have us 13th in the league)
Off: 73.6% (Dead last)

ORB%
On: 26.5% (6th)
Off: 19.7% (27th)

TRB%
On: 52.3%
Off: 47.5%

Weird, are you looking at the recent games since love went out and compare it for the year with him on ,or is that from all the cavs games since the trade?
Thanks for the info anyhow

I'm looking at full season, biggest sample size available.

Getting Love back is going to be huge.

He was actually moving around great right before the knee surgery. His mind was clear after the back MRI was clean. Now he's had a chance to rest his back and his knee is cleaned up.

I've very excited. We've still only seen flashes of the best of him. I think he's going to come back with a vengeance.

I think now is the time to take a moment to recognize just how good Love is.

Channing Frye being a decent starter lasted about 2 games with Love out.

Now you can see where Love is really missed.

Get well soon.

His rebounding would have been huge last night. Not to mention he would have nailed that three that Williams passed up on.

And oh yeah, He is apparently now an elite guard stopper... Just ask Steph, Wall, and Beal.

Love is great against Boston.

They don't have anybody to take advantage of him because all of their guys besides Thomas are not exactly guys who instill fear into anyone. But they have no answer for him, on the glass and just in general defensively. He can do plenty of work inside and out versus them. It's not like GS where they can sometimes exploit his footspeed on the PnR.

Where do we ranked as rebounders, specifically defensive rebounding this season? I feel like we havent been great as a whole.

15th in the NBA, a -0.1 Rebounding differential. So about as average as average gets.

Defensive rebounding specifically, we are a +1.3. Which is still pretty much average.

We're 22nd in DRB% and 16th in ORB%
