Even Bosh is a shitty rebounder for the Heat. At this point, I'm really happy whatever Love is bringing to the table. He's playing better than he should have. But to other people, he should be playing as good as he was when he was the FIRST OPTION! Insane really.

Kevin Love came to Cleveland to be part of a winning team and he says he will do what he is asked, but I am sure that doesn't include watching the team win from the bench. If he leaves after a year or two then the trade was a disaster, the Cavs will be worse for it, and failing to integrate him into this this team will be an abject failure put squarely on Blatt's head. We heard enough from Barkley last night, and now I have to read this:
Kevin Love is in a win-win situation, even if he doesn't like the Cavaliers.

That is a garbage headline. They simply state "He doesn't look happy". Have they watched every game? Do they see him off the floor? He was jumping and chest bumping teammates the other night. Last night he was first off the bench congratulating Kyrie on a big 3. These douchenozzles need to get off of the whole he's not having fun. I regret even giving that article a click.

Yeah, the article didn't really say much, but the point remains, he didn't come here to watch us win from the bench. I have a hard time believing we weren't better off with him on the floor in the fourth quarter, and unless the injury rumors are true I doubt he appreciated it either.

Come on Richard you're better than that. "Really happy...playing better than he should have." I'm dumbfounded. Have the expectations of Kevin Love reached a new all time low? It's like you people expect way more from a 19 year old rookie on a garbage team than do you from a "superstar" on a loaded team. I don't care if he is the third option and doesn't have to do as much as he used to. 2-10 shooting & 5rbs in the most playoff like game of the season is completely unacceptable, don't lie to yourself and say it isn't. Everybody on the Spurs team stepped up their game, and so did Kyrie and LeBron. The only player worth noting that didn't was Kevin. I suppose Kevin used his telepathic powers to cause Kawhi to miss those 2 free throws while he was sitting on the bench. Give him props when he plays exceptional but stop passive aggressively defending him when he plays like complete crap.

Umm.. many of us in the game thread and Webb/Barkley were clamoring to get Kevin back into the game in the fourth. Thompson and JJ were getting abused on switches.

Kevin FINALLY comes into the OT quarter, suddenly we take the lead. He basically locked down Duncan in OT and made crucial plays that lead to possessions including one of LeBron's wide open threes.

Everyone complains about the switches, but the defense was just another reason they were able to get back in it. That group got enough stops to take the lead.

Same thing against Valanciunas. yeah there were 4 pts scored easily, but the rest of the points were never scored to allow the Cavs to win. Kyrie did the rest.

You can just as easily say "TT fucked up the screen" as you can "Kyrie hit an amazing shot" in that instance

Considering most of the night San Antonio was exploiting mismatches, the defensive scheme might've been why we were down in the first place.

We should've been running plays for Kevin to beat Diaw and Bonner down. But nope, our guards prefer to pull up a contested jumper instead of dropping the ball off to Kevin on a pick and roll the guard set up.

How did we do in the paint last night? Everyone saw them destroy us on the inside defensively. They grabbed everything and were given leeway. Love couldn't get it going, so he sat, They weren't letting anyone roll in.

It's not surprising the Spurs play mismatches. They have a weirdly skilled team. What do you think is the most effective assault against that offense? They get easy baskets all the time.
