This just doesn't look good

It's that simple

I think we all can say if we know we were getting mozgod we wouldn't have traded for Love

Windhorst works hard at his job, and he is a talented writer and commentator. I used to enjoy his takes when he was plugged in. Now he's relegated to the same generic access most other media types get, and he tends to just regurgitate the same stuff that everyone else is saying, whatever that happens to be.

Now the talk is about Love leaving, probably with those saying it hoping it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The exact same "league sources" were the ones who said Lebron would never leave Miami, how right were they then? Windhorst is also pushing the angle that Lebron will use his one year signing to leverage Blatt out (maybe, maybe not... but he still is the one putting that out there over and over again).

Quite frankly these guys just need to keep generating talking points regardless of if there is a kernel of truth to it or not. Their job is to generate clicks and page views, nothing more. If they're not churning any controversy they can I'm pretty sure they figure they're not doing their job, and that may quite possibly be written right into their job description.

Windy makes a deal out of Lebron rolling his eyes when Blatt comes up. I wouldn't be surprised if Lebron is rolling his eyes just as much at the questioner as he is about Blatt.

Love back with atrocious defense.

Let's just state the obvious here. He's been underwhelming so far. That's the sole truth.

His playing level is miles away from a max player worth. He's important to the team, yes, but he should be playing much better than this. Disappointing.

What on Earth are you talking about? Did we watch the same game?

Love back with atrocious defense.

The guy with the atrocious defense against the Pacers was benched during much of the stretch run tonight.

Here's a tip - his name wasn't Kevin Love.

I feel bad for the Cavs fans who dislike Love. A night like tonight has to be tough. So close to almost losing and having the chance to blame Love, and poof just like that the team wins.

Just glad I don't have to live my life like that. I'm not sure how I could stand myself or show my face.

Umm Kevin Love's defense was the reason David West was essentially benched for most of the game.

Love just doesn't get enough touches. In Minny, he was so much more dominant. Here on the Cavs, he just has played too nice. Both Kyrie and LeBron have had games where they take over. Kevin Love, when healthy, is capable of that. But it's hard when you play a position that requires getting passed to and when he plays with teammates who are really really really good so it's easier to pass the ball back to them.

He's averaged almost 6 FGA less than last year yet he still averages 16 and 10. Get him the ball more and have him take just 3 more attempts. He could be a 20 and 10 guy.

I think he played good defense tonight and his rebounding was stellar. He just goes MINUTES without even so much as touching the ball on offense. Blatt needs to run more plays for him.

I'm holding out hope that my conspiracy theory is true that the Big Three and Blatt came together and agreed they'd hold Love back only to release him as a secret weapon come playoffs. A guy can dream right?

I like Love, I really hope he can succeed.

But he's been underwhelming, despite playing hard.

Kevin Love definitely deserves the max. Fans should never bitch about him again. Never. I mean, this guy has gone from being 'the man', to a completely diminished role. He's CLEARLY not been healthy all year long.

It's been a tough adjustment. The dude never complains though. He goes out there every night and plays hard. Regardless of his role, health, or touches. The way we utilize him is painfully obvious not the best way to use him.

Think about it, both LeBron and Kyrie get to play exactly how they like to. People think there's been an adjustment for Kyrie? Not really. Now, he doesn't orchestrate the offense as much anymore, but he has the exact same freedom as ever to do what he likes offensively. How Kyrie plays really hasn't changed that much at all.

It's Kevin that's had to make the 180 change. It's Kevin that's clearly had to sacrifice how he plays best, for the better of the team. And it's Kevin, that honestly, doesn't even get to utilize what he's fully capable of doing on this team too.

I mean, what a guy, if you think about it.

Is he happy about it? Probably not, but he's willing to do it, and not really cause a problem about it either.

Just too bad we can't give a little back to him.

The guy played great, just wish we'd do a better job utilizing him more.

Either late in the 3rd or early in the 4th, there was a possession where LeBron was isolating up top and Kevin found himself moving to the corner, where he threw up his hand as if to indicate he didn't know the play.

It's obvious that he's being under-utilized here. However, if we can go deep in the playoffs, I believe he'll be inclined enough to stay. Hopefully with an off-season to hash things out and with a re-tooled roster, he'll be used more in the capacity he was used to in Minnesota.

They go to him very early in the game a couple times - like they have most of the year - but almost as if it's a novelty. It definitely doesn't appear to be what they insist on doing.

That's something both Blatt & LeBron could have something to say about.

I don't know the numbers other than the fact that Love booked another double-double. But he played really tough defense and he banged hard on the boards, along with making some key shots.
