Because not everybody wears sporting attire or team matching colors to a game. It seems like love has hired a stylist or he has done some research on his own. He keeps his beard trimmed instead of looking like a mountain man and styles his hair now with a nice clean cut. He looked spectacular at the cavs introduction presser. Maybe gq really rubbed off on him? You have to really see his pants and shoes before you declare the shirt as shit, but I'm guessing he isn't wearing baggy pants and air jordans.

Hahaha. Good reply.

Very true on the end part. Gotta see the whole wardrobe... Though, while I agree with your first statement, wearing stars is just a very odd choice for someone who is vocal about being a big fan haha.

My only concern with watching this video is that between Love and Lebron they should be able to find cutters all night long but outside of AV we don't really have anyone whose known for their off the ball movement. Irving was terrible off the ball, Dion wasn't much better (although he seemed to move a lot better playing with Delly), Miller tends to stand at the 3 point line. To be fair, Marion moves well w/o the ball but I don't expect him to get huge minutes.

Not complaining about this tremendous off-season, but it would be fun to have a young Rip Hamilton type play with Love and James. Then again there aren't many young Rip Hamilton types
I think that will be up to the coaching. If Mike Brown was still leading this squad I would have some real concern about efficiently using our offensive weapons. I really don't have any doubt that blatt can put these guys in the proper positions on the floor. Dion even said himself he was going to study the off ball movement of wade.

Lebron, Andy, Marion, and love are fantastic if not elite for their positions. Thompson is alright he is just not a good finisher. And who knows with waiters. He didn't have a chance to cut last year because brown had no system but pick and rolls and create for yourself. And if he was serious about what he said about watching video of wade cutting he could improve significantly..

But a team doesn't need the whole team to be great cutters just a few. Its not like the wolves have a ton ( Corey brewer and Martin) but teams with have to double lebron and Andy and love with pick them apart. And if they send weak side help to stop love in the post then that leave s Andy and lebron there. It's not like citing is an unteachable skill it's just knowing where the holes in the D are. Pretty much all veterans understand this and do it regularly.

And if Allen comes he is a great cutter also.

Rick Adelman was a horrible coach?

the guy won whenever he was given talent.

you can point to all sorts of reasons why minnesota never won with love but even if Adelman was one of them it certainly wasnt because he was a horrible coach
Rick Adelman was a good coach...once. In Minnesota he was a terrible coach who didn't adjust and stubbornly played veteran scrubs over better younger talent. Dieng wouldn't have been playing if Pekovic didn't get hurt. The Wolves will be much better this year without Rick.

are you seriously faulting Adelman for playing a guy with a 20.9 per

lolwut? I never said I wanted Dieng to start but him and Shabazz should have been getting more minutes and it took Pekovic getting hurt for Dieng to get minutes. If Pek wasn't hurt Dieng wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to play significant minutes. Having Dieng in a rotation with Love would have been better for Minny because Pek and Love are a bad defensive pairing. Go on the Wolves board and tell them Adelman was a good coach...

you realize pekovic has to sit in order for deing a rookie to get minutes.Deng was being used for pekovic and those minutes are probably why deng was able to play as well as he did when vucevic got hurt.

would he have helped the twolves win games. ?

Your talking about sitting a +6.8 for a -4.4 guy. shabaz was just as bad,

thats not bad coaching. its smart coaching.

you laugh but who sits for deing to get more minutes?
Turiaf gave ya a better chance to win and the team was trying for a playoff spot.

They also had a big trade during the season.

Adelman had no back small forward and no worthwhile backup point guard.

1) Why would you wear a blue shirt with stars to a Cowboys game... if you're a fan of the opposing team?
2) Why do you own this shirt, Kevin?

Haha! Dat shirt. When you're a millionaire athlete and you look like Love and you're most likely slaying Grade A as we speak, you wear whatever the hell you want and don't care.

Why are we talking about a point guards in Kevin Loves thread? Anyways I know most of you have seen this and I have watched it like 4 times (media really needs to get here) but its Loves triple double game. And this video shows all of the nice outlet passes that his teammates just are not good enough to finish or even try to finish... three are probably 4 passes to pretty much wide open players.

This vid makes me moist every time.

Agree.

No one should question Adelman's coaching acumen, I'd say last season his effort and focus were sapped by some personal issues. Even then, the Wolves' record of 40-42 was the best they've had in a decade. Minny was just an unlucky team in a loaded conference.

Obviously I didn't watch all of their games, but there must have been an awful combination of bad luck, choking, and bad decisions to win 40 games when your ORtg and DRtg predict 48 Pythagorean wins. I don't think I have ever seen such a difference between actual wins, 40, and Pythagorean wins, 48; most of the time, there's a difference of 1 or 2 or maybe 3 wins at most, but 8?

In addition, their SRS of 3.1 put them at 9th in the league last year. I can't remember many teams with that high of an SRS missing out on he playoffs before. It was a strange team for sure and there certainly a lot if positives for that team, especially the starters who had a very nice collective NET + point differential.

Thought this thread could use some Love...

Kevin came in @7 in SI Ranking of all NBA players. Behind LeBron, KD, CP3, Russell Westbrook, Tim Duncan, and Anthony Davis (In that order). He came in front of some great players like Steph Curry, Dwight Howard, and Blake Griffin.

I think 7 is a good spot for him. Nice to see him get some respect with that kind of ranking although I think he actually could've come in @6 with Tim Duncan dropping a few ranks.

Am i the only one who finds it to be a bit of a stretch to have westbrook ranked that high?

i'm a bit of a westbrook hater so i agree with you

glad to see KLove with #7 though. Timmy shouldnt be top 10 though

He may finally show more wear this year but I'd take last year's Duncan over everybody but Lebron and Durant if it was just a question of the playoffs
