Ya which I don't agree with at all. You still need guys who can score. look at the spurs, They lean on def, but still they got 3 guys who can score 20-30pts whenever. The cavs got 1 guy who can do that.
To a certain point I agree with you, but hey only had 4 different people score 20 or points for them last season
Ginabli 35 times
Duncan 43 times
Parker 32 times
Finley 5 times
now for the cavs they had 5 different players who are currently on the roster score 20 points or more.
Lebron 70 times
z 16 times
Gibson 5 times
West 3/13 times in the playoffs for 82 game equivelant 19 games
Wally 1/13 times in the playoffs for 82 game equivelant 6 games
We forget for his 9 year career wally has averaged 17.5 or more points a game in 4 seasons, almost half. Gibson when health is always a 20 point threat. Z is always a threat to go off for 20 points. Surpisingly west seems to be pretty profficient at socring 20 points once he we got our rotation together, and Lebron can almost be pencilled in for a gurenteed 20 points. I think if mb uses a better rotation and we stay healthy, we can become a much better offensive team than we showed last year with this current roster.
You make it sound like SA had 3 people a night go off for 20 points, when reality is they had 115 20 point games. Lebron by himself had 70 (i am not counting players who are no longer on the teams, but assuming gibson and west return) If anyone of the players I mentioned take turns scoring 50 points, we could easily have 140-150 20 point games. SA does not have an advantage there by any means.
Where their advantage is balance. 3 players average around 19 points, one 1t 10. We can combat this by Lebrons 30, and 4 players average 10-15. (z, west, wally, gibson) for equal balance.
