I hope Lebron makes this kid give effort on defense. That is honestly the biggest impact I foresee Lebron having on the roster. And thank GOD we also got Wiggins who plays great D. That's 2 players in our starting 5 who destroy on D and oh yeah if we have to start Andy make it 3

I remember and don't believe Kyrie will have a problem deferring because he's done it before. I was just answering the post for the sake of answering it

I'm slightly worried about Kyrie and how he handles this. Wade and Bosh were ready to win and were ok with playing in someone else's shadow. I'm not sure Kyrie is at that point in his career where he's ok deferring and not being the center of attention.

...I'm certain Kyrie will defer to LeBron, he's already a 4-time MVP. I think this "center of attention" stuff disappears the minute we start winning games.

Agreed. We already know that Kyrie was an active part in bringing LeBron back home. Don't think he would've been part of that pitch unless he was ready to share the spotlight...and the ball.

I was under the impression that if he wanted a full max contract w/ the Rose rule in effect, that he couldn't have any ETO's

Any CBA gurus want to clarify this for me?

I don't know if you are being sarcastic, but yes, that happened. The league adjusted to him and threw an extra defender toward him when he would get the ball on the wing to try to cut off the pick and roll or entry pass to Bynum. He would then try to beat it with the dribble, causing people here to label it as hero ball (yes he did other things as well to earn that label). This was the first time I ever saw him panic, and I think it was because he had never seen that kind of defensive pressure tailored for him.

Brown tried to combat it with Princeton style motion handoffs between he and waiters from that position, but they would seldom carry it out for all 24 seconds. At times it did work after he returned from injury at the end of the year, and that's when we finally saw both of them play at an efficient level at the same time. Funny enough, I imagine that's what we will run with Blatt.
