Kyrie and Lebron should be a great fit together. Kyrie is like a rich man's Mo Williams and we had our best years as Mo Williams as the second option. Kyrie's outside shooting is a big improvement over Wade's and will help clear the lanes for Lebron. But Kyrie is also a dynamic scorer himself so teams can't employ a let "Lebron get his and shut down the rest of the team" type defensive strategy that we always faced in the past. We don't need to stack the roster with shooters like Miami did because Kyrie, Lebron, Waiters and potentially Wiggins can all shoot themselves, so the driving lanes will be open for business.

A rich man's mo Williams... Are you serious?

They play a similar style of game. Don't see what is wrong with that comparison. Maybe you don't remember how good Mo was with us but he was the second option on a 60 win team, averaged 16/5 and shot amazing percentages in his two years with Lebron (45/43/90 ish).

kid will be left 1 on 1 a LOT, and we know how good he is on these situations

expect a monster year from him

Kyrie did tweet this a couple hours ago.

Not the most excited he's ever sounded, but at least it's something.

Kyrie is like that. He seems to be Bi-polar one minute he is all excited about small news. Then some big breaks and he is like "oh... cool." I think he is just acting cool for his image. Or he is mad he now HAS to play Defense :chuckles:

Need LeBron in the next Uncle Drew episode

I think Kyrie should understand that if he ever wants to really become relevant, his team needs to be better. Any reservations he has, I think, will quickly go away once he plays with LeBron. His entire game will be able to expand. It's not like he'll have a diminished role necessarily.

He can still average over 20 a game, but now be more efficient. He's going from the guy teams focus on defensively, to playing off the best player in the world. Dwyane Wade enjoyed this very much for a reason.

He's been the guy, on a losing team, and he was basically diminished this season because we were losing.

There were reports that Kyrie recruited LeBron. I'm pretty sure he's stoked to play with him....

It's about to get real for Kyrie. Between Blatt's passionate style and LeBron's mentorship, he's in for one helluva wake up call. If he listens and gives it his all he will experience success beyond his wildest dreams.

I'm anxious to see how this all plays out.

Kyrie agreed to his extension knowing we were going hard after LeBron. He inked it knowing that we had a very good shot of landing him. It's not as if he didn't know this could happen, and I'm sure he's reached out to James privately. I just think we put too much stock into what these guys post on Twitter. You see the same thing in the Dion thread every time he makes some dumb comment about starting.

I'm excited to see how good Kyrie is going to be without entire defenses collapsing on him. This kid seems to excel when playing with other great players. I think his shooting percentages go way up this year to above his rookie year numbers.

We get this man Love, Ray Allen, and/or Mike Millz on top of LeBron and he will make 1st team NBA if he plays defense. We've seen Kyrie play off good teammates at Duke, during All star games and with team USA. In every situation he shined and won MVP. Kyrie could go off for 25 a game and 6-7 AST this year on amazing shooting %
