I agree with your sentiments. I'm excited to see Irving this year play with LBJ and Love...but I'm also nervous as all-get-out. What if Irving fails to reach the next level?

Irving is so damn smart. You can see it when he is on the court. He knows he doesn't have to do everything, so he'll split a double and give it up easy.

I hope Blatt runs pick and roll with Kyrie and LeBron. Indefensible.

Irving and it's not even close. Kyrie is the much more complete player, and he's versatile enough to fit the FIBA style beautifully. Wall has no place in international play.

Yeah, Wall has been a total disaster. He can sort of dribble drive and pass, but he hasn't been able to score at all.

Yea, Wall really hasn't done anything. He is basically a much worse version of Rose, so I don't see a place for him on the roster. He can't shoot. And isn't even getting to the rim right now.

Assuming Steph is a lock, and Rose. The final PG spot should come down to Kyrie or Lillard. I think Kyrie will get the nod because he has more experience.

Absolutely Irving. Wall made terrible decisions, got trapped in the air many times, and looked like a rookie out there. He's a great athlete, but that's about all he showed. Irving, on the other hand, was smooth and seemed to be a calming influence for the team. They got the ball in his hands, and he made the right plays. I actually believe he might start.

Sidenote: That injury to Paul George looked terrible and it's truly a shame.
