I hate to sound cocky, but if Kyrie plays like this, I have a hard time seeing even the Spurs beating us in a seven-game Finals.

My statement of Kyrie becoming the best PG in the league and a top 4 player are slowly becoming less and less of a fantasy and more and more of a reality. The guy just has another gear that is just unreal.

If he defends and runs the point like this to combine with his scoring ability, I can't think of a more complete point guard in the league.

Love is better than Bosh talent-wise and is a much better fit with LeBron and Kyrie than Bosh was with LeBron and Wade, and now Kyrie is showing that he might be closing in on prime-Wade level ability while also being a much better fit with LeBron and Love.

LeBron really excels with shooters around him, as will Love and Kyrie. Bosh was a good shooter, but not a great shooter, and Wade wasn't that good of a shooter, so the Heat really had to get by on talent. This team is looking like it will have about an equal talent level for its big 3, but its big 3 fits a lot better since all three can drive, shoot, and pass at an elite level for their respective positions, while Wade was missing shooting and Bosh was missing passing and, to an extent, shooting (although he was still pretty good, just not on Kevin Love level). Add in our deeper roster, better coach, an owner who is willing to spend whatever it takes, and left-over assets that can be used to further better the team, and we're looking incredibly good right now.

I'm hoping that LeBron ages well like Duncan and Jordan, where he can play at an all-star level into his late 30s, which I see no reason why he wouldn't considering he has one of the most durable bodies in the history of the sport thanks to amazing genetics. I'm hoping this because, if he can do that, Kyrie and Kevin Love might be enough for us to do a Spurs model where we can win for more than just the next 5 years. We even have our own Euro-Popovich and a Spurs-esque roster that has a lot of shooters.

I'm fairly confident that we're going to see some of the best offense that the NBA has ever seen over the next 5 years.

.

I don't think he can be a top 4 player in the league even if he becomes a CP3 level defender. Durant,Davis,Lebron will always be better than him and I don't think he can impact the game to be better than Cousins,Griffin, and Howard.

Stop it they ran circles around everyone last year and Parker was hurt and I believe Manu just had surgery and was hurt all season. Add in Kawi taking the next step they are strong.

Again? :chuckles:

Dallas took them to seven games and they went six games against a hobbled OKC team (SA went up 2-0 early and handily as OKC was without Serge Ibaka). They're not as "unstoppable" as many make them out to be...

He's clearly a boogie fanboy. :chuckles:

Where do you rank chris Paul?

By far the best guard on the team.

When both Kyrie and the team figure that out, he'll look even better. Especially if someone can get that knucklehead Harden to figure out that if he gives the ball to Kyrie, Kyrie will get him easier shots than the ones he gets when he tries to create them himself. It drives me nuts watching Harden play.

He'll keep being quietly the best guard on the team, right up until the shit really hits the fan. at that point I guarantee he's going to be demanding the ball and make damn sure everybody realizes that he is the best player on the team in crunch time and that no one is going to touch him on the court unless he allows them to.

I can see a few games where kyrie has about 8 points with a bunch of assist in the 13-14 range.

Loving the way Kyrie is playing at the moment. Although the opposition should be taken into account, by analyzing his game entirely, it seems to have really matured. Taking the right shots, scanning the floor for the open man and his handles (like they weren't already good enough) seem to be that much smoother. Looks like he's just letting the game come to him, not forcing anything and playing his role - something we can expect to see him do this season as opposed to his first 3 where the onus was entirely on him.

With kyries creativity and scoring repitoir, shooting and finishing ability, kyrie will score with ease with the defenses focused on 5 guys with the ball and bodies constantly moving. Anything less than 18 points a game from him will be a let down, to me personally. But thats just me.

my lord the english on the ball on they layup harden assisted him on...its insane
