These guys around Kyrie are trash. Get him some help and he won't have to do everything himself.

I'd take Bledsoe and Afflalo over Kyrie and Dion. I'm not joking. Bledsoe is injury-prone, so is Kyrie. At least, Bledsoe can actually play defense and his outside shooting is looking good right now. Those two guys would fit in well with LeBron and Love.

In the post game Blatt said he was fine with the Iso of Irving and James.

More out of Waiters? What the fuck? He played 11 minutes tonight.

Kyrie is the guy with the maximum contract. Kyrie is the PG, the guy with the ball in his hands the majority of game. 0 assists in unacceptable. Embarrassing. I've literally never heard of anything like that before.

My point exactly. How are we going to get Waiters more involved in the future if he's not going to be played? Even Miller 's corpse had more burn today.

I see no reason why Kyrie cant get his team mates involved other than no one can produce out of Lebron James tonight. A whole lot of nothing showed up tonight other than their OK freethrow shooting.

I'd love to blame the team's overall embarrassing lackluster showing for 4th game in a row already rather than Kyrie's putrid playmaking tonight. Didn't even have to finish the game to know where it was going.

The assists number tonight is pretty deceptive. The team shot 40 FTs, not much room for finishing off passes.

We still had 30 FGs made. The Jazz had 26 assists on 39 FGs made.

I don't think it's deceptive at all. In fact, it's exactly indicative of how we played.

And why wouldn't he be?

LeBron and Kyrie were 20-41 last night for 65 points and 5 TO's. That's 1.6 PPFGA.

The rest of the team was 10-31 with 7 TO's and just 1.1 PPFGA.

ISO wasn't the issue at all last night. We got killed on the glass and couldn't finish at the rim.

I'm confused as to why people thought thru the first 4 games of the season they expected Kyrie to revamp his whole game. We've seen this before with Wade and Bosh. Playing with Lebron James is easy to adjust to if you're a role player. When you're a major player like Kyrie and Love it takes more time.

I suppose if the team believes they can play Kyrie 45 minutes a night and LBJ 42 minutes a night and go one on one all game, it could be an effective strategy, that is until one of them gets hurt or keels over from exhaustion.

Guys like Kevin Love, Mike Miller, Shaun Marion and even AV need teammates to set them up and pass them the ball and get them into the flow of the game.

The ISO stuff later in the game when you need a bucket and can just out-talent your man is one thing, but all game long?

At the end of the day I dont care how many points you score, if you are a point guard and can not record 1 assist in a game that is ridiculous. With the amount of talent on the court there is no excuse for not being able to set a teammate up in a position to score.

Of course he doesn't think there's nothing wrong with playing 45 mins and not even getting 1 assist. Even Melo, Kobe, Westbrook would probably end up with more than two assists. People on here are afraid to say it because they want to cuddle him, but Kyrie is a SG in a PG body.

Kyrie is playing worse right now than anytime the last few years. And that's saying something considering how bad he was at times. It's been one of the more selfish displays of basketball I've seen in a while, and it's the reason for just about all of our offenses woes right now. Fix Irving's play and everything clicks into place. As it stands, the ball sticks with him so whenever anyone else finally touches it, they're trying to make something happen instead of just playing the game. And that's not to mention his lifeless defense which is causing all sorts of havoc for everyone.

Don't get me wrong, this team needs Kyrie if they want to compete for a championship....just not Kyrie in his current form. I'm pretty confident that if Kyrie received some DNP-CDs right now this team would go on a winning streak. He's doing that much damage right now.
