Kyrie's sickest play was his assist to Thompson on the fast break, I think it's the third play in the highlight video.

The live broadcast replay had a better angle (from behind the play) but you can still tell in the highlight video that Kyrie actually put strong english on the ~30 foot bounce pass to deliver it to Thompson.

Clearly they lookin to advocate weed smokin to young adults. Whats next, thumb to side of nose? Shootin in the arm with an invisble needle?

Bath salts and they pretend to eat Dellavedova

well the Daily News is way behind as these 2 have been doing this handshake since opening night. It's not a victory handshake, they do it during player intros too.

as someone else mentioned, that pass to TT on the break was ridiculous. AC even commented that Irving kept his head up and saw the seam. Kyrie mentioned post game that he was challenged at halftime w/ someone asking him if he was ready to play. I think we all saw the response to that.

Magic like bounce pass! Can't wait to see more of that play making from him as the chemistry and trust improves.

Incredible game by Kyrie.. just flat out incredible. Last night was the first sign of this thing coming together. We beat a decent team that was hot because all three superstars stepped up, led by Kyrie going all video game mode on them. LeBron had to feel like.. ya, this is why I came here.. watching Kyridiculous and Love go off. Awesome.

This kid is pretty good at basketball.

Deadly efficiency combined with playmaking ability.

That's the Kyrie I expect to see from here on out. He and LeBron are going to wreck the league.

Kyrie mentioned in the post game interview that Jones, Haywood, and Mike stayed in his ear the whole game and kept him focused. Plus we have LeBron of course to help teach him and show him how to be a leader. It is nice to have that veteran leadership actually make an impact and it will be huge for Kyrie's growth. Good to see.

Kyrie is easily one of the top 10 gifted scorers in the league. Which concerns me, because his other skills (besides dribbling) are nowhere near as good.

So it's a tough balance to strike...when Kyrie is out there you WANT him scoring, otherwise you're not making the most efficient use out of him.

He's worked on his defense. For example, he really is trying hard to close out on shooters.

As a playmaker, he's not selfish, but he field of vision narrows particularly when attacking the basket and does not pass out well to guys on the 3 point line. This has two consequences: one, open guys on the perimeter gets frustrated, and two, causes him to over-dribble as he doesn't see the outlet. Letting Lebron be the de facto PG has solved this problem so far - Irving is playing more like a SG who is tasked to score. His passing while average for a PG is above average for SG's so it takes a lot of pressure off him and lets him concentrate on what he does best - score and dump off passes

There's nothing wrong with Kyrie's court vision or passing ability, just look at some of his passes last night, including that pass to Tristan. He's such a gifted score that sometimes the right play is for him to take the shot, especially when he's exploiting a mismatch or has the hot hand. He will learn from LeBron how to balance that with keeping teammates involved.

He's a good passer in the pick'n'roll and pick'n'pop, but I guess Pioneer was saying he has trouble driving and kicking, which I agree.
