Kyrie is a combo guard.

He is like a mix Paul and Wade if you look at him from a production standpoint. He however fits perfect with LeBron because Bron and Kyrie can share running the offense. Kyrie his improvement in all areas has been amazing. He is looking like the player we all hoped Combo guard or not.

Kyrie's throwing up some nasty efficiency stats as of late. 60.6% True Shooting Percentage now. I expect that to climb as the season goes on. That's some scary shit right there.

I honestly don't understand Windhorst's claims that Kyrie isn't happy deferring to LeBron. Kyrie is playing the best basketball of his career and actually trying on defense. If there's a better indicator of happiness than buying in and playing hard every night, I'd like to hear it.

I have to agree with windy that Kyrie is taking all the shots on the second unit not really trying to get anyone involved. Even the Mike Miller struggles can be brought back to this.

I don't have a problem with it because he is scoring well, but a lot of our bench woes can be drawn back to this. Again I am not complaining about Kyrie, but Windy is right about this aspect.

People complain quite a bit about the bench, but how many attempts are they even getting?

nothing wrong with combo guard, it's no different than LeBron being a point forward. Kyrie can be playmaker one minute, efficient scorer the next.

sometimes people get too caught up in terms PG and SG and then judge players effectiveness through their expectations of those traditional positions. Kyrie is a combo guard (and one of the very best guards in the league). Jordan and Wade are combo guards too.

The shoe also was designed with the Sydney Opera House in mind, the famous landmark in Irving's home country of Australia, where he was born.
