I'm being realistic and patient with a rebuild. You don't seem to notice how there's only ever like 5 contenders out of 30 teams in the NBA each year? This is a very tough league to compete in, especially as a small market team. So far we've been doing things the right way. And don't even compare the Cavs to the Browns. Different sport in a different league. The Cavs have been bad for 2 years since being contenders. The Browns have never been contenders. That is true, but Durant is the exception not the rule when it comes to legitimately transcendant players. Most of that type of player, and Durant is not near LeBron's or Duncan's level, but anyways most of those players immediately dominate. LeBron, Duncan, Jordan, Bird, Magic, Oscar, Wilt, Shaq all dominated upon arrival. Durant isn't quite in that tier of player, but he is still one of the top 20 talents to ever play imo.

And Pyro it hasn't happened since the 70's, don't know the exact year though.
