LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Something strikes me as very odd about lebron's behavior. He speaks as if he's not a part of all this. So weird. If I played like he's been playing, I'd wipe the smirks off my face.

Yea, that play was bad. The very next possession he ran back and blocked Lou Williams fast break lay-up. At least when he wants to play defense he can. Some of these other guys...they just don't have the ability or do it far, far less.

I don't think LeBron is the problem. There are many problems. He just isn't helping be much of the solution right now. I think he will figure it out, its just taking longer than I would have hoped. I think he thought he wouldn't have to be as aggressive as he used to, but he clearly needs to attack and try to score like his old self.

I think you are right about not having to do as much offensively, bit it's clear the team needs him to play like Superman until things settle down. I thought we had that after the beatdown of ATL and a four game win streak but we're going to be in high alert DEFCON soon enough.

Because he's not coming out looking to be aggressive and is looking to get others involved but has to deal with a work in progress offense in which nobody seems to know roles, he puts himself into awkward place on court and winds up turning it over or taking bad shots. It would be nice if Blatt had him in the post from the beginning in the next game and asked him to go and score aggressively early and then make plays for others. At some point, and that point is coming soon, you can't turn the ball over 4-5 times in EVERY game.

He looks like he doesn't want to be here. He sounds like he doesn't want to be here. I don't understand what is goimg on. Had he not just returned, I would think he had one foot out the door.

How is he not shouldering blame? Kyrie is saying all the right things after games and LeBron is coming off to me like an arrogant prick who thinks he is above the team.

This whole situation stinks right now and LeBron is at the center of it. Something isn't right. I am at the point where I could totally buy a conspiracy to sabotage Blatt in order to get his own guy in here. As ludicrous as it sounds, it is about the only thing that could explain how this season is playing out.

Something is definitely very strange. I watched Blatt's press conference, and lebron's. Super weird body language and facial expressions from both.

Lebron's post game this game sounded much better. He seems positive again so I'm not as worried as I was after the Wiz game. We started out great and then we imploded, there must be production from the bench its killing us.

He knows what he has to do, he just simply refuses do to it. He knows that he has to be the head of the snake on the defensive end, but he chooses not to. Sometimes he'll try and then after he sees the type of effort that Love displays on the defensive end, he'd instantly revert back to his laid back style. I think he's surprised of how poor Love is on the defensive end. He realizes that he'll have to waste a lot of energy to cover up for Love's pathetic display on the defensive end.

He's already giving Cavs the same treatment that he gave Miami last year. He played his heart out last year and set the tone early in games in the finals, but his teammates didn't showed up. LeBron doesn't like to waste a lot of energy in losing effort, this is why he picks his spots of when he wants to turn it on or off. I don't know what the hell he's waiting for, but he needs to be the one to set the tone on the defensive end every night. When you're the best all-around player on a team, you have to take the responsibility to lead by example. You can't shy away from the challenge.

Unlike some fans on here, I knew what he went through in Miami in terms of the loads he had to carried and it definitely took a major toll on him, but at the same time, LeBron doesn't seem like he want to play the way we all know he can.

I keep thinking about your post and I have to say....This was the weirdest sequence of events in a game that I can remember.

I think something's up with LeBron. Could be completely wrong, but something has seemed off to me the entire year...but I've been writing it off as "too early." Tonight's press conf with Blatt and then LeBron's comments......something's fishy in Denmark.

He's been hard to read all summer and fall. In every interview, he looks disinterested and lacking emotion, as if either he's completely spent (his career minutes are those of a soon to be retired player's), worried about something, feeling maybe he made a rash decision, the apathy.

Then preseason starts and we all notice he's not explosive at all but we say preseason and then the season starts and it's not the Lebron we know. He goes off on a tear and we think all is right even though he wasn't flying around like he used and now 4 straight subpar games. I honestly don't know what the hell to know/think/believe and it's scaring the shit out of me all the while making me furious. Someone needs to ask him what the fuck is going on.

So I must be the only one that thought Lebron post game comments were fine?

What did he say?

" were a very mentally fragile team and it's not even at the lowest point "
