LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lebron may have to get back on Creatine if Kyrie doesn't come back 100%.

45 minutes in a loss... For the love of God can we please sit him tomorrow against Miami. Screw what the media says about it. LeBron's not going to keep this up forever and I'd hope we can preserve him as long as we can.

Clickbait-ish title aside it's a good article lol

I wish espn would give lebron the kobe treatment

Pshhh. Prime LeBron could've averaged 50 without having to rely on threes or screens.

That would be ideal wouldn't it? Tough road back-to-back, played a ton of minutes, so you give him the night off. But apparently nobody in the organization has any inkling to do the smart thing with LeBron. Gilbert, Griffin, and Blatt will just ride LeBron as hard as they can for their short-term benefit.

Is it more of a testament to LeBron's greatness or an indictment of this team's constitution that they'd be a 35-win (fully healthy) squad without him?

We saw that last year when he took his vacation. This team goes no where quick without him, and that is with 2 in their prime All-stars and an $82 million dollar 6th man on the roster.

I don't know what it is, but something just seems missing with this team.

I do know though that playing Lebron 45 minutes on the road in a loss to a 4-15 team is embarrassing and can't be allowed to continue.

Yea, that's it...

It's also possible LeBron is stubborn and doesn't want to sit. But we need to take a Spurs like approach and we need to do it NOW. Can't risk him ending up like Kobe....

You guys did hear him say he wants to play all 82 games. I think the team just needs to play better. Will be the only thing to keep his minutes down.

Thank you! I was feeling a loss either way. Good to get him some rest.

Mildly surprised. Even though we will surely take a loss, smart move for the long run.

How fitting for Lebron to sit Vs Miami, sums up his career.

Pressure just mounting like crazy. Broussard was just on WKNR talking about how he thinks LBJ might not win another title. Man, I fucking hate that doomsday shit, but I bet it's in the back of everyone's mind. A clock is ticking. Where the hell is the sense of urgency?

1) Broussard is terrible, please don't take him seriously.

2) It's December. I know everyone is saying that, but it's true. If this team was a finished product we could assess more, but they're not. Kyrie and Shump have been out and Mozgov hasn't been 100%...we'll know more once the first two come back and some time passes to assess all three. And let's not forget the TPE - I know most don't expect to use it, but I wouldn't put it past them to do so (or trade Varejao) if Mozgov doesn't shape up soon. Finally, like it or not LeBron isn't playing full-go until the postseason. Last night's 4th quarter should be a reminder of what he can do when he's going all-out.

It's a marathon, not a sprint.
