It seems once the Cavs were eliminated from the playoffs ,their emotional efforts have tanked once again.
Instead of continuing to play hard, they have the attitude of fans..why play hard now?
This is one reason why I wanted them to get to the playoffs..they needed to taste it, to understand what winning can do.
Now they're playing like they did in that disgusting stretch now too long ago.
And I'm praying that is part of the reason that Mike Brown will not be our coach next season
! We're not finishing on a high note,
we're being dragged to the finish line, that's representational of our entire season at large, apathy, no heart, immaturity, and lack of toughness whether it's mental or physical. This season has sucked so bad, I'm never excited when the season's over, but I have had enough of this botched experiment. I'm ready to flush this season away, it's been that frustrating and disappointing.
Brown cannot steer these kids, in the biggest game in 4 years we came out like a fucking anemic ghost and got out asses whooped. That was a double down opportunity as the Knicks lost that game and we would have passed them in the standings.
We got Luol Deng and Spencer Hawes for nothing, but the same inconsistency stayed with the team. We finally patched our long-neglected small forward role with a really solid player. We mis-used Deng and lost his trust
very quickly. This disgust isn't coming from some knucklehead, Lu is respected around the league as a true professional, that's why it's disturbing how (someone who's generally very quiet) comes out of the woodwork and is appalled by the juvenile behavior on this team.
Now, rather than finishing strong, we lose to two of the worst teams in the entire league. We stunk up the joint on national television, the TNT crew disrespected us openly because of how shitty this team is to watch, not only that, they certainly lack direction from coaching.
The relationship with Brown is unhealthy, and this team is being dragged to the finish line. On fan appreciation night you go out and lose to the Boston Celtics, one of the hardest tanking teams in the league, in front of your
loyal fans. That's despicable.
The only reason the team is even remotely getting better is because Dion and Kyrie have openly pronounced their friendship, so there's no more gossip plaguing us. It's funny that's even a factor here, but clearly the gossip gets to us. Back to what I was saying.
We're only improving because our individual players are maturing, as they should. We still have major problems functioning as a team, both offensively and defensively we have enormous issues.
How you can justify this, why you want Mike to remain it's all fucking crap to me. I'll be ELATED, I'll jump for joy and dance like a fucking asshole the moment Brown is out of here. Hated him the first time, hate him all over again. DEFINITELY hated this years team, utter CRAP.
