Small, unathletic, and soft.
Honestly, this roster just needs a makeover. All of the role players are wrong. James/Irving/Love should be surrounded by players with superior defensive abilities. Instead we have a roster full of small, non-athletes.

Folks, Corey Brewer is not the answer here.

The man can't shoot. The only two things he can do that Marion can't is run and dunk in transition and make his layups.

If we give up a pick for him, it'll be this FO showing it's colors again.

I agree that I don't want to see the Cavs break the bank for Corey Brewer, but to be fair, guy does lead the league in steals. He'd be an upgrade at shooting guard.

Id rather start Brewer and bring Marion off the bench like we should be doing. We need Marion and his defense in the second unit so I agree. If we land Brewer and some how keep Waiters This team will be much better already so I would have to agree with you all around.

I am worried about the weaknesses on this team if the expectation is to win a title. Lebron ( still a great player) is no where near as dominant as he has been in the past. Love to me has been a bit of a downer. I thought he would be a better post up player to make up for his lackluster physical play on the defensive end. Marrion is being asked to do too much, and we still have the glaring hole guarding the paint. Lebron and Andy are not getting any younger. We need to win a title in the next 2-3 years in my opinion or we wont win one. Hate to be so blunt but that is what I think our window is. Love and Irving to me even in their prime are not alpha dogs to ever lead a team to win a title IMO.

This game changed my view regarding the Kevin Love trade,
I think the Cavs would have been better with Wiggins and a decent center + pf in that season and in the long run :/
but this could change as the season progresses, that is only my feeling just by seeing that atrocious defense, too many glaring holes.

EDIT: Sorry, i'm just bummed. don't care about the loss but the Defense.

Andy's lost a step for sure and isn't making much of an impact with his defense or energy plays AND he's shooting when Love should be. I don't whether it's possible enough to remake this roster enough in one season to contend although we are in the East and one great series...

Nothing special, but atleast the negativity would have lessened and the Cavs future would have looked brighter with some home franchise players.
My post is perhaps bad and poorly written, i'm gonna edit it.
