Marcus Banks?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Banks would be nice, but he'd really be 3rd PG, basically doing what Mike Wilks is doing now. I don't think DJ is going to be going anywhere anytime soon.

I think Damon Jones is actually one of the better off the ball defenders on the Cavs, that is, he is usually at the right place at the right time. Jones on the ball is a little different, though its not as bad as you'd think. Lots of the matador stuff is supposed to be toward the help, Mike Brown does incorporate a help defense, but if the offense spaces correctly, Z can't help in time or someone blows a rotation. A guy like Banks would be able to stay with the quicker guys better than Jones or Snow could, and make up for slow or blown rotations.

Marcus Banks played for Minnesota tonight against Boston. His Box Score looks great:

MIN
21
FG 6-8
3PT 1-3
FT 7-9
RB 1
AST 6
STL 1
TO 1
PF 1
PTS 20

20 Pts, 6 Ast in 21 mins.

I doubt we can trade Luke Jackson straight up for that if he keeps playing this way.

I belive Marcus was playing out of his skin as it was against his former Celtics who he seen as giving him little opportunity to succeed.

Yeah but, this is a glimpse of what he can do. No matter how good he might be, if were to earn starters stripes at Minne, that makes jaric available, or if he makes back up, that makes troy hudson available. Either way they have too many guards in Minneapolis. I would trade say Damon Jones and Luke for jaric in a heart beat.

The reality is the Minne is playing him to boost his trade value. I don't think they are going to part with Marco or Troy.

there is no way I want Troy Hudson....but I would not mind Marcko Jaric...that is the one I wanted in Free Agency any way
