Mass Effect 3

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Downloading the demo now :spin:

Also, here's the FemShep trailer they did... I've never used a FemShep in any of my playthroughs, and I don't plan on starting, but this trailer is pretty fucking badass and might make me reconsider my stance. :chuckles:

Pretty impressed with the demo. Takes the best parts of the first two games and throws in a little bit of Gears of War for good measure, and it all comes together very, very well. It's got a perfect balance between being cinematic and actively engaging. Good to see that EA hasn't (as of yet) sucked the life and creativity out of Bioware. These next 3 weeks are gonna take forever...

I played the single player demo too and I'm loving it. Found it kind of challenging too.

Much more difficult than ME1 and 2..

Anyone playing multiplayer?

Yup, been playing it since Monday

It's not too bad for being the first attempt at in the series

The powers level the same way they do in SP but you only get 3, it's Co-Op as opposed to Vs which I think was a good choice though character/race unlocks are goofy at the moment and should have been more than a dice roll through buying kits

It is a combination of Gears of War's Horde or the co-op from Bullet Storm

If there's one thing Bioware does better than anyone else with the ME series, it's how to make an explosive intro to a game. Not quite as good as 2 (because 2 was as good as it gets) but holy cow, the intro is amazing.

If you think it's good in the demo then you should be happy to know that it's missing speech selection options and at least one scene that was deemed to be a spoiler....Same with the 2nd demo mission...this is according to what I've read on the GAF forums

Great news. Even with those things, I still think it can't beat ME2's intro. That was a whole new level of cinematography in video games. I'm actually going through ME2 again just to make sure my save file has all the choices I need. I also never played the last DLC which is apparently pretty crucial plot-wise as a tie-in to ME3.

I've been playing the multiplayer mode with a friend for over an hour now. Damn it's so good

That trailer was so sick. I can't even put it into words right.

Extended version coming Tuesday. I like how they release a Teaser version for this one, and then this one, and now another one on Tuesday that's longer.
