Mass Effect 3

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was skeptical when I heard it had multiplayer but I just downloaded the demo and checked it out today. Well done. Well done indeed. I was expecting deathmatch and I got coop. Sweet.

I got an erection, I fucking love Bioware. Haven't touched the demo because I want the experience to feel new when I pick up the game, when's the release? I feel like I've had this pre-ordered for years.

Looks like I found another thing we agree on.

This game is gonna be badass. :chuckles:

BTW releases in 2 weeks on March 6. Nuts.

Demo has large cuts compared to the full release, though if you play the 2nd part of the demo you will have spoilers but it's the same thing that was shown at E3 and such so if you already watched that it's no big deal

Also they launced copies of the game out on weather ballons this morning, from SF, NY, London and some where else that I'm forgetting. Each launch had 10 games, 5 for each system.

Mass Effect 3 space promotion is a go, equipment used donated to Texas A&M
Story by Stephany Nunneley Thu, Feb 23, 2012 | 18:05 GMT

BioWare’s Mass Effect 3 space-promotion is a go, and over in San Francisco at the first launch site, G4 reported that the first package went off without a hitch at 7.00am PST.

The first package contained 10 copies of the game, split equally between PS3 and Xbox 360 and the second launch went off around 9.00am PST.

The landing time for each location is three to four hours. and the first package should land somewhere in Santa Cruz, CA providing Mother Nature doesn’t decide to send it someplace else.

While all of this sounds like BioWare’s having a good time promoting its new game, there’s more charitable reason behind it as well: the launches are being handled by Texas A&M students who are participants in the High Altitude Balloon Club and they get to keep all of the EA-donated equipment used to launch the games into the stratosphere.

The equipment will be used by the students to study the Aurora Borealis in Alaska after it’s finished playing with Mass Effect 3 discs, and the data collected will be used to study weather patterns and how best to protect satellites from solar flares.

Mass Effect 3 releases on March 6 in the US, March 8 in Australia, and March 9 in Europe, for PC, PS 3 and Xbox 360.

Im not a big fan of the Mass Effect series, but i played the demo today and my God, this game looks fantastic.

I played 1 a long time ago and loved it. Never got 2 because my computer was lacking, but got it last week and pre-ordered 3 too. Having a great time playing 2 now, should work out nice for when I get 3.

Here's a look at what exploring the galaxy and what the planet scanning is like now.

Scanning looks a lot less tedious now.

I've stayed away from demos, gameplay vids, etc to keep the full experience in tact. Only thing I've seen is the commercial and the Live Action trailer.

I thought the release date was 3/6? I just got an email that says my order has shipped. COOL!!!

Not sure why I would? It's just a pre-order of the PC version from bestbuy.

I hear about people getting the game early all the time because it gets shipped early for unknown reasons. Maybe it'll just take that long to get to your house.
