I agree that would be funny too, but I still think his original quip was decently accurate. Some of ya'll think too deeply into this shit.

I agree with that. They are definitely the future backstops. Toregas has not shown much of anything and we know what shoppach gives us; passed balls with little else. Marson better be called up in Sept. as we know Santana will not be.

LaPorta had a great swing on that double. How about Masterson? VERY SWEET.

yea, good game by Masterson, he ran out of gas after going over 90 pitches, but he looked real good against arguably the best hitting team in the majors.

Yep, 6.1 innings and 0 ER is a good line no matter how you spin it, the Angels are tough tough tough team so it wasn't against a bunch of toolsheds either.

Remember he sat for at least 30 minutes in the bottom of the 6th inning while we scored about 6 runs or so. He came out in the 7th very flat, so I'm wondering if sitting that long had any affect on him? I'd have to say it did.

Right, that is of course assuming Akron wins in the first round...which you never know.

Either way, I believe they should be over by the 21st and he will be up shortly after that.

Couldn't hurt, it's not counting towards option or service time...I'm looking forward to seeing it.
