Woj reporting a deal could be done tonight, with the Raptors sending out at least Ed Davis and Jose Calderon. Gotta say, I hate it for Toronto. Ed Davis could very well end up being a better player than Rudy Gay. He's been really good since they began starting him. I don't get it.

Is Memphis trading for Davis to have him come off the bench? If not then are they looking to trade Randolph too

Makes our trade look that much better. We took their Top 2 Bench players and now they've dealt a franchise caliber player.

A Gasol or Z-Bo injury in 2015 or whenever we have the pick could be catastrophic to their season.

Yea, and I have to imagine with bringing in Davis they plan on dealing Randolph either by the deadline or this summer. That pick does look a lot better right now.

Still, I like this trade for them. They weren't going to win the West and they got a really nice, young player who is still on a cheap contract and unloaded their worst contract in the process.

Raptors always going for quick fixes that never work for them rather then tanking and rebuilding via draft, and to give away Ed Davis their best player for Rudy Gay. Just lol.

Gay's PPG will likely shoot up by 10 now, immediately becomes the top scorer on a team with limited options.
