As critical as I am of Delly -- and I think he is way to weak to be an 8th man on a championship team -- I don't see anyone available that is much better. I think Gary Neal or Nelson could work, but to be honest, the little I've seen of both of them this year is pretty underwhelming. I just would rather not sign/trade for a guy who is no better than Delly. If that's the case I'd rather grab a backup center.

Good catch, haha. If you're referring to my posts in the Delly thread, though, I still stand by them. I said twice in that convo that I don't think anyone is available who is better than Delly. People tried painting a strawman regarding my argument because that's much easier to attack.

There are people who value what Delly does on a second line, and there are people who are wrong. But we have a separate thread for that. I think once people hear about the Cavaliers options right now they will put up with Delly's limitations a little more.

Am I the only one who thinks Delly is actually a suitable backup PG? I don't understand why this is such a "pressing" need. I wanted Mo for the nostalgia factor but I'm not really feeling the need to just go out and get another PG for the sake for having another backup.

If we need anything it's a backup center to spell Mozgov.

My 5-year-old nephew can spell Mozgov. Our backup center will have to be able to do more than that.
