It would be worth a look, but not a pick per se.. Mo would be super motivated.. I am a Delly fan, but I dont see Joe Harris as rising to a contribution level. With Shumpert Jr Miller and Jones, I see more players than minutes at the 2-3 and not enough players at point or center..

Are people dumb enough to not realize Mo would be in a completely different role. He'd be like our 7th guy and not the number 2 option. Having Mo in that role would be valuable. He was good for Portland in the playoffs last year

So you want to trade your last asset for a guy who will be at most your seventh option?

I would love for Mo to come back for nostalgia's sake.

I would be hesitant to give up even a second for him.

I wouldn't even think of giving up Haywoods contract unless we were getting a guaranteed first back as well.

He was really bad for Portland in the playoffs last year. Shot 37% from the field and played bad defense.
Mo's a good guy, but he's a lousy defender and he has throughout his career under-performed in the playoffs. That's just not an appealing combination to me. I have a bad feeling he'd be missing shots and getting burned by Lou Williams/Dennis Shroder/Aaron Brooks/Andre Miller.

you kind of proved the point why we should want mo...all the other contenders have offensive pgs who don't play much defense to come in and score off the bench while starter sits. miller is guess has old man defense but its not good.

I he really our last trade asset? And do you mean for this year or the future?

Because after this year, essentially anyone not named LeBron, Kyrie, or Kevin is technically a trade asset. On the night of the draft, our 2015 draft pick becomes a tradeable asset. On Dec. 15 of next year, whoever we sign with the taxpayer MLE becomes a trade asset. Our 2018 1st rd pick is a trade asset that can be used at any time.

I'm not saying that is the only rational that should go into using Haywood to acquire someone like Mo or Sessions.

But given the depth of our roster going forward and the scenarios I laid out above, it's not correct to say Haywood is our last asset.

I'd like to see Mo just because I'd like to eee him get a ring with the Cave and LBJ like he should have 5 years ago...but he's a bad defender and I think his role is a bit redundant especially if J.R moves to the bench. Dellavedova is a better defender, will run our sets better, and will give us more hustle plays in limited minutes and I don't like the idea of. J.R./Mo 2nd unit backcourt. Would rather focus on a big.

Charlotte could still trade Mo Williams, without aggregating contracts, but they have clear use for him with Walker injured.

On a related note, the Cavs cannot trade Haywood back to Charlotte until July 1, 2015.

This safari is not looking promising...

Love Mo but we don't need him.

If a backup PG is required, Jordan Farmar is available. Farmar is not only younger he also has prior experience with Blatt.
Thats who I think they should go after..at the moment.

Jordan just went World Wildlife Fund all over our safari.

:bigcry:

Oh there'll be another one come barrelling through...

Farmar isn't available. He signed a deal with one of the Turkish league teams.
