More reasons (#2317 to #2319) to hate Notre Dame

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No there isnt even 25 good teams.

How the hell do you figure???

A good team is one that competes for the national championship, unless you call that a "great" team. I feel that the word "great" is overused. So then were going off of different meanings to words and that is a useless discussion.

For instance, michigan, that team is alright and there in the top ten now I believe. Michigan will get banged by OSU/TEXAS/USC maybe dame but I dont know. No way missiagain will compete for the title.

OSU closed the playbook by the 2nd quarter.were going into texas in game 2?is this a cupcake.we schedule northwestern, their in our conference its not like we can dodge them every year.

You're standards are pretty rough, Cali. How many Division I teams are there, 117? If less than 25 are good that means just about everyone is decent to bad.

I guess it's all relative. Year in and year out, Toledo is a good MAC team, but middle of the road, at best upper middle, when compared to division I as a whole.

Would you consider Ohio State a great team??? They have only won one game.

Yeah I take some of that back after reading it again but the word great is overused.

Ohio state is a good team. Hopefully by the end of the season we can say they're a great team.

Calis post shows he knows nothing about what he was talking about.

And I do respect OSU, you can look at the board last year and how many times I said they had a great great defense and hell, I even wanted the Browns to draft Hawk first.

At the same time, Pittman is my boy and I know he is talented. I still dont like Smith and Ginn is not a real WR. He can do that at this level, but at the end of the day, dude isnt a WR.

And I know OSU is no different than any other program, but how the hell are the majority of Buckeye fans talking about Dames schedule when OSU is scheduling DIAA teams. Thats just pathetic right there. Outside of the UNC game, there is a reason and history for every game ND schedules.

Big Ten is also not the toughest conference. SEC and Big 12 are just as good, if not better.

the big 12 was one of the better conferences, but they have been down in recent years. if nebraska can get good again, along with oklahoma, then they could become an elite conference again, but until them, they are middle of the road.

SEC and Big10 are the toughest.

He's starting to become a legit WR. He was a CB in highschool and he's only played the position for 2 years. He's become a much better route runner and has some of the best speed in the game. I doubt we'll see him play any DB this year, so he'll be drafted as a WR.

We scheduled a DIAA team...big woop? Navy and Army play like DIAA teams even though they aren't. Maybe you guys just need to throw history out the window. Maybe they used to be good and there was some sort of rivalry/history, but are they still good? Nope.

Navy went 8-4 last year and won a bowl game. What are you talking about?

Army isnt that good anymore, but they still won four games and played all DIs.

They arent top tier teams anymore, but you cant throw away history. It is still a huge traditional game.

When Michigan was spanking OSU every year for a while, they didnt throw the game away because OSU wasnt an elite program did they? No, you don't throw away tradition.

That was the worst example ever.

B/c our strength of schedule was significantly better than ND's last year, it likely will be again this year, and might even be next year when we play Youngstown. I don't believe Div IAA teams are even counted when you calculate SOS. It's like that game didn't happen. Between Washington and our stout Big Ten schedule, our SOS will still be way higher than most teams.

I honestly could care less about ND's schedule, but it is you, an Irish fan, who keeps bringing it up.

Since Navy was thrown into this conversation, im gonna put in my input, although i hate ND because they beat Navy every year, i have a ton of respect for ND and the respect they show Navy, they take their helmets off because of what those guys stand for, unlike most other teams they play. and they are a school that has more class then most other team in college football.

OSU pretty much puts a bunch of trouble bound kids on a squad, call it a team and thats that. you guys call yourselves loyal fans? HA what an idiot thing to say, when Clarrett got busted you know longer claim him as a former player, when each and every one of you know that you loved that guy when he won it for you. so if you dont claim him anymore, dont say you won a National Championship, because if it werent for him you wouldnt have won it.

How could you possibly prove that OSU fans are not loyal???

And you making the excuse that the reason Navy isnt good becuase they just get good kids. Thats a load of crap. If the Navy program had the chance to swith roster with the Bucks they would in a heart beat.

Coming from a bandwagon fan who doesn't have a favorite college team. Sit down.
