Anyone know how to frekin stop Kobe's spin move??? I am a 2100 star rank in NBA 2k9 about 78 win percent, I keep facing Kobe hogs, that keep spinning like zillion times to the hoop, I try to take charge, they spin around the player.

No matter what type of defense I play, zone, man-to-man they just get to the hoop, other wise, when I try to sag of a bit, they shoot a jumper that goes in 100%, lol. I tried putting different defenders, I mostly put LeBron on Kobe, still doesn't really work. I also tried blocking the shots, that works once in a while, but not enough to effect the ball game.

I really hate those kind of players, takes no skill, I can do the same with LeBron all day, I hate playing that way!!!

Any advice?

Put up the box 1 zone and make those bums shoot,thats all i ever do.If people try and abuse someone I press the sh*t out of them and force steals.I play as sim as possible until my opponent uses the exploits.

You wont believe what happened when i was online on 2k9 today. This was like the first game I played online in months that wasnt in a league.

I was Cavs, he was Lakers. I play the right way, he cheeses with Kobe.
At one point in the game Kobe made 3 threes with double teams with Z on him. I was down by 20+.

I comeback at the end make 4 threes with Mo. Tie the game, were in OT. His Kobe has like 50+ points. By the end of OT Joe Smith made a layup to tie the game, hes still Kobe cheesing. Going into the 2nd OT His Kobe has 60+ pts.

In the second OT and the end his Kobe makes a far out 3 with Z and Mo on him! He's up by one. I make a layup with LeBron with like 4 seconds left in the game, and im up one. Somehow he gets a fast break with, no other, Kobe. Joe Smith fouls him and he misses the layup and goes to the line. I didnt cheat by pausing the game during his free throw like i wanted too but right after the foul was called I pressed pause like he was doing to me, for like 2 mins to build up the pressure. He makes both his shots. Theres .5 seconds to go. Mo gets a good look and it rims out. I lose.

Nobody had over 10pts on his team besides Kobe who had I think 71 or 78pts at the end.
On my team LeBron had 30pts, Mo 28pts, and Delonte/Wally/ZJoe/AV had around 10 give or take.

I went over to my friends house last night and we ALMOST got to the number one spot on the 360. We have one time before. We played from like 10:30 at night to 6:30. We were ranked like 60 somethin and than we had our big chance to shine!We are classified "rookies" and with the greatest upset of all time beat a Hall of Famer by 15 points! It was insane with the emotions flying knowing a loss could set us back but a W would push us way forward. After we beat the Hall of Famer we were ranked 21! Than my heart sunk as the next oppenent appeared on the screen. DREDOGG! The guy ranked number one! I was SOOOOOO pumped because I knew we would beat him and take the throne right there but right when the game started the pussy backed out! So then we had our next game and it was another Hall of Famer. This one we couldn't overcome and it ended our streak for the night but that one win could have easily put us in the top 5 probably 1. Than when we woke up at like 12 we were still ranked like in the 50s and that is pretty good. BTW the whole time we were the Blazers. PRYZBILLA FOR PRESIDENT! It was a good run while it lasted.

Ranking reset every week. Sunday at midnight. But there is a ranking you keep that courts all time. Not too sure what your talking about in this case.

Pretty cool JK got up ranked that high. I made it into top 50 one week when I was sick and had time to play that many games. Most of the time I play unranked HOF team up with a few buddys i'v made on 2k or in Sim LG's.

My friend just called me and said he beat Dmac by 6 who is ranked like 4. Number 1 here we come. (For some reason I am better on 360 than my friend and I don't even have a 360). We are both really good though.

I beat this kid on live it was the best game, he could not stop kobe. In the second OT i hit two free throws after he paused the game to try and ice me. He rimmed out with MO and i won by one.

I hate when people online take this game too seriously. Its stupid how they wanna talk to you on the mic, or friend request you or send you voice messages or when you win they talk a whole bunch of shit how I cheated and blah blah or what ever. I wanna play a quick 20 minute game.. I could care less if I win or lose.. and then get on with my life.. this game has no impact on anything. Its just annoying.

I hate losing.. when I lose on 2k8 I usually hit the pause button right before the games over to make the winner wait 3 min.
