It feels like I'm suddenly Mr. Golden State, but the Cavs are more reliant on the three than Golden State. The Cavs took 36 more threes than the Warriors this year, and the Warriors put up about 400 more overall field goal attempts.

But the Cavs also have a great post up player and slasher in Lebron James and if Kyrie can get healthy add another good slasher. GS has no one that can score with post ups that well or slashing to the baskets. This is why many people including myself aren't in awe with GS's good RS results. They are mainly a jump shooting team. We don't trust their style of player to win all 4 rounds of the playoffs. Not to mention they have only one legit big man...so that leaves them vulnerable when Bogut has to take a rest, is in foul trouble, or gets injured as he is injury prone.

Bad juju making this thread

Hawks is all that's on my mind

lol the homerism on here is ridiculous

the warriors should beat us in 4 rather easily, maybe if they choke

that team is great offensively and defensively

homerism these days. go ahead and disagree rugrats

that said = we would have to shock the world again, only worries about shocking the world by beating the hawks in the ECF for now

Well, there were threads about the Hawks or Wizards while we were still battling the Bulls, and the bad juju did not arise.

Actually, I take that back -- we've been hit by bad juju with Olynyk, and it hit us again with Kyrie. But this team chewed that up and spit it out. So the next time bad juju comes calling, I say this:

You've said this before, and I argued then it made no sense. If the Warriors only have one "legit" big man, that must then mean he Cavs only have one as well. Otherwise, I have no clue how David Lee, Mo Speights, and Festus Ezeli aren't "legit" big men.

LeBron has to fix that broken jumper quickly if they even want to make it out of the East.

You say shit just to say shit, and that's all it is, a bunch of filthy good for nothing shit.

This is a whole hell of a lot of rationalizing here.

I don't know how one can shit on the teams the Warriors have beaten when the Cavs have beaten two worse teams, respectively. Or are we suddenly elevating the Bulls to elite status because we beat them?
You have posted this a few times in this thread.

The reason no one is mentioning our path is because no one is claiming us to be an unbeatable super team that cannot be stopped like the Warriors. People are overreacting to the Warriors beating a team that they completely took out of their game and who was pretty overrated in the first place. A lot of people in the media are still picking the Hawks over the Cavs.

Golden State in my opinion would have lost to SA. I think they will go 7 with the Clippers and I think the Clippers have a good chance of beating them. We are bringing up who they played because people are hyping them up to be this unbeatable monster. They matched up well with MEM. I don't think they match up as well with LAC or us. Time will tell.

ETA: I am rooting for the Clippers tomorrow :p

You also said the series was over several times against Chicago in several different threads.

Are you even a cavs fan? Serious question. All you do is gloom and doom all over the place. If you think we get swept easily then honestly you are adding nothing of value to the discussion

And you've said this a couple times in this thread and I'm not sure you're aware but the Clippers are playing game 7 in Houston tomorrow.

Woah, the Clips still have to beat Hou in which Doc is an 0'fer in game 7s on road

You're right, jumping the gun. I only say that because I don't think the Rockets would beat GS. Clarification: IF they get the Clippers I think they will have a hard time with them. If Rockets I think they would take care of them in 6.

You know what else is ridiculous? Assuming the Cavs are getting handily swept by anyone when the Cavs possess the best player on the planet.

I'm not going to discredit GS. They are a fantastic team who compete hard at both ends of the floor. But the Cavs role players have been playing great and we still have LeBron James.

Either way, I feel stupid for even chiming in on this thread because it's nothing more than a hypothetical series at this point.
