Too many Molly-coddled folks. Amazon isn't the greatest place to work but anyone that works at a job that doesn't involve life and death shouldn't get so stressed out over things.

Quitting or being "culled" isn't the end of the world.

Generally yes, although....

I've seen some women brought to tears by asshole bosses. Maybe I'm just older and a chauvinist , but I think you have to be somewhat cognizant that everyone isn't equally tough, and the "toughness" expected should be job related and somewhat dependent on the position held by the subordinate. A dude who keeps yelling at a secretary when he can see she's crying may just be a dick.

Although I admittedly lost my temper when a female plebe started crying while getting yelled at.
 
I am unclear on how the fuck any male could seriously CRY in the workplace. I'm not even certain what it would take for me to cry in an office setting. Even if someone told me my wife or son died on the spot, I still wouldn't cry in the office. I'd be in shock for longer than it would take me to gtfo of the office.

I've been infuriated in the office before, but wouldn't have shown it. Working from home, I'll yell at people if they fuck up and if things go really horribly wrong I'll punch my desk. But I've never even been CLOSE to getting emotional.

Can we take a gander as to what kind of things would make grown men cry in the workplace?

Gary at my office is good for a cry about once a month. It's actually pretty entertaining. Tell him he's moving one office over...he cries. Give him a raise...he cries. Joan Rivers dies...he cries. The cast on The View is changing...he cries. They forget to include that orange sauce with his Chinese order...he cries. He's awesome.
