New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I find The Newsroom to be a very dumb, preachy show, but it's not without its entertainment values. The characters have fun banter, even if it's totally unrealistic.

I agree with Rich, though. The show is basically just Sorkin's Soapbox, but he kind of undermines his own point by only analyzing everything with a year of hindsight rather than tackling modern news stories. It's easy to point out what everyone got wrong when you have over a year to pick them apart. What I find really funny, though, is that McAvoy's show is basically a serious version of The Daily Show, just less witty, clever and, obviously, timely. McAvoy himself is like the halfway point between Stewart and Colbert.

Just finished It's Always Sunny. Man that shit is hilarious. Where was I the last 10 years...

Now starting Californication. Like it so far just a couple episodes in.

New season starts January 14th. I am pretty excited for it.

Vikings might be my second or third favorite show. It isn't the most terrific of story lines (it isn't bad), but I just love the battle scenes and the barbarian nature.

I like Always Sunny, but I thought that last season was pretty weak. I only thought one episode was really funny. It was the one where Charlie thought he was a genius. The one with the recreation of lethal weapon was alright too.

I agree the last season was probably the worst.

All the imagination episodes were horrible.

I still watch Always Sunny mostly because Charlie Day is so phenomenal that he can single-handedly carry episodes. It's still baffling to me that he's not in more movies given how good he was in the Horrible Bosses movies. He outshined two much more famous and successful comedic actors in both films.

Is this on Netflix or Amazon Prime?

I have been wanting to watch this so bad before the new season comes out but have not gotten around to it.

Soa fans what did you thinkm about the last episode?? Does jax make it through the finale??

I think it sets it up nicely for the final episode. I really hope they don't ruin it. And hopefully they don't try and turn it into a sappy episode of everyone on the show crying.

I want to see people dying and an action packed episode. Hopefully Jax's son kills someone, too.

Yes, it is on Amazon Prime. They have the first two seasons.

For anyone that has seen them, is Falling Skies or Under the Dome good? I'm thinking about trying one of them out.

Falling Skies was really good first couple seasons and has since gone so far downhill that I actually quit watching it. Wasn't even good enough to hate watch anymore.

I do not recommend it.
