Soa fans what did you thinkm about the last episode?? Does jax make it through the finale??

I just want Jax to die. It's what I've wanted very early on. I don't like him.

Don't be spoiling SOA in here. I haven't seen this latest season yet since I don't have cable. Keep it in the Sons of Anarchy thread.

For anyone that has seen them, is Falling Skies or Under the Dome good? I'm thinking about trying one of them out.

Under the Dome is a fucking terrible show that completely butchers the (pretty good) book that it's based on. It was supposed to be a mini-series, but CBS got greedy and tried to drag it out to turn it into a regular series and it really shows. Just a godawful show that no one should ever watch.

i can 2nd that. it sounds cliche but as a reader of the book i was really disappointed. they added some terrible plot twists to extend the show.

Well that sucks. I need a new show to watch on Netflix or Amazon Prime. I'll probably watch Agents of Shield, but its only one season. I watched an episode of Review last night on Amazon. It was funnier than I thought it would be.

Any good under the radar shows?

If you haven't watched it, I can really recommend Hannibal, it is absolutely amazing. the first season is really uncomfortable as you're basically witnessing a man lose his mind gradually over the entire season while watching him get manipulated without knowing so. Absolutely incredible acting, visually impactful, interesting story, great character development and plot twists... it's honestly my favorite show right now, beating out House Of Cards, which I never would've thought possible considering how big of a Kevin Spacey fan I am.

True. Also anything by bryan fuller is great TV. Pushing daisies, wonderfalls, dead like me.

I'm a couple episodes in to Justified. I like it so far.

Is justified on any streaming service? It's not on netflix, last time I checked.

I never caught 'How To Make It In America' when it first came out and have been reluctant to watch it, given that it only lasted for two season, but I think I'll start it tonight.

Thoughts on this one? And any ideas why it got axed after only two seasons?

so I binge watched Twin Peaks and Fire Walk with Me on peer pressure and while I found it dated and corny throughout, I kept watching it. So much so I am watching Twin Peaks Fest videos on youtube and am reading about the different takes of what it all means online lol.

Not bad, not great. It really needed to be an hour long show because every episode seemed rushed to fit into the 30 minute slot. I enjoyed it but there are definitely better shows out there.

Thanks for the tip. Watched the first 3 last night - not overly impressed but didn't mind the concept. Considering it's such a short series, I'll probably give it a go all the way through, though.
