New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Eaten alive

More like "Not Actually Eaten Alive." That guy literally failed at everything. He didn't catch his giant mythical anaconda, and we never even saw any actual footage of it, just him with his legs in the air. Then he took off his arm plates for the part where the snake was supposed to eat him only to tap out because, surprise surprise, the snake was breaking his arms. He didn't even get a sensor reading either because apparently they thought it was a great idea to only put one pressure sensor on his entire suit.

The only thing I took out of that documentary was that the Amazon sucks and that no one should ever go there.

Didn't even watch it. Knew it was going to be dumb and just a way for Discovery (channel it was on, I believe??) to get ratings.

It gets a lot better after the first season too since they start adding a main story to each season to go along with the more stand-alone episodes. Kind of like The Shield.

I've never seen The Shield. But I like how each episode on Justified has the action of like what a full season might have on other shows. It's like they introduce bad guys and bring them down in the same show, where usually in other shows they take a long time to warm up to that. I hope the episodes don't lose that kind of action because that is why I like them.

They still have that in the following seasons, but they also have a season-long story line that they touch on in each episode and then wrap up in the finale. Personally, I've always thought this is the best way to do television because it's relatively easy to pull off, but at the same time keeps each episode interesting while still having a greater plot line to make the season unique.

It's much harder to pull off a show like, say, The Wire, where episodes are not stand alone and seasons function more like novels. The potential payoff is greater, though.

Also, you need to watch The Shield. Easily a top five show of all time.

How much better is season 2 of the shield compared to season 1? he just seems like such a fake tough guy and the drama is so forced early on

"Eaten Alive" was just wannabe bad TV.

I wish Fox would do another "Man v. Beast" special. Navy SEAL versus a chimp on an obstable course, sumo wrestler v. orangutan in a tug of war, world-class sprinter v. giraffe. And my personal favorite: Who can pull an airplane faster -- an elephant, or 44 midgets and dwarfs?

Cheesy, sensationalist, bad taste television at its glorious best.

The Shield gets progressively better as it goes along, probably peaking around season five, although the finale is probably the best in TV history.

Can someone tell me what happened in the first 5 minutes of tonight's SoA episode?

He wakes up next to Wendy. Throws away bloody shoes (from Gemma). Heads out and looks at photos and the manuscripts. He burns them all. Goes to Opis' grave and leaves his ring.

Watched an episode of Marco Polo on Netflix.

Extremely underwhelming.

If episode 1 is any indication(sometimes its not), this show is really going to struggle with character development.

Scenery is awesome. But characters, dialogue etc? Very poor. This is where Game of Thrones(a show with a massive world) excels.

Did anyone catch the mid-season finale of 'Arrow'? Jaw-dropping stuff!

Just started Mad Men on Netflix. Does this shit pick up at all?

The shield finale or breaking bad finale? Which one was better? ?
